Chapter 265

Olive publicly revealed her face. Noah, of course, was surprised. He believed, however, that everyone at Watson had been thoroughly deceived by Olive's delicate beautyโ€”himself included, until now.

"Jimmy," Noah declared arrogantly, "it seems you're determined to protect Olive today. Let me remind you, she's a clown. If you continue this charade, you'll regret it when I tear off her veil."

Jimmy and the others remained steadfast. "Noah, Olive is Watson's fairy. You're only causing trouble because you're humiliated by your annulment."

This struck a nerve. Noah exclaimed, "What?!" Tension mounted, a fight seeming imminent.

Then, a clear, soft voice cut through the air: "Noah, aren't we already annulled? Why are you seeking me out again?"

Jimmy and the others quickly stepped aside, revealing Olive's slender form. Noah, though he'd seen her yesterday, was captivated anew by her composure, her serene presence like a lotus blossom on a still lake. Her shining black eyes met his, and the sound of her name, "Noah," was oddly pleasing. He stumbled, momentarily taken aback.

Quickly recovering, Noah sneered, "The Hart family clown, indeed. Young Master White has come looking for you."

"And what do you want?" Olive curled her lips. "Didn't I tell you to leave me alone? Do you...like me?"

Jimmy and the others chuckled.

Noah's face darkened. "Who likes you? Don't be fooled. I'm here to remove your veil and show everyone your true, ugly face."

Jimmy intervened, "Olive, don't be afraid. We'll protect you. No one can force you to do anything you don't want to."

"We're all on your side, Olive," the others affirmed.

Feeling the warmth of their support, Olive replied sweetly, "Thank you, everyone. I appreciate your feelings, but Young Master White has brought a crowd. I can't let them leave empty-handed. I'll lift the veil."

Noah and his entourage were taken aback. Wasn't her clown face supposed to be embarrassing?

"You clown, what are you doing?" Noah demanded suspiciously.

Olive smiled. "Noah, you're so strange. You wanted to expose me, and I agreed. But now you suspect me of deception? Go think things over and come back when you've cleared your head."

Chapter 266

Noah was stunned into silence. This Hart clown was unexpectedly sharp-tongued, leaving him speechless. A bad premonitionโ€”a feeling of impending defeatโ€”settled in his gut. Could this clown actually be beautiful? He vehemently dismissed the thought. How could she be?

"Clown, if you're looking for death, I'll gladly help you lift your veil," Noah declared, rolling up his sleeves.

"Wait a minute," Olive interrupted.

Noah's companions began to taunt her. "Olive, finally scared?" one jeered. "You were a good actress, though." "Why don't you just apologize to Young Master White?"

Olive calmly met their gazes, then fixed her eyes on Noah. "If you insist I remove my veil, I will. But let's make a bet. If I'm not ugly, you'll provide breakfast for all the Watson students for a yearโ€”five-star standards."

The proposal was met with immediate enthusiasm from the Watson students.

"Noah, do you dare?" they pressed.

Irritated by Olive's audacity, Noah agreed. "Fine. Let's see what happens."

He approached Olive, hand outstretched to lift the veil.

"Wait," Olive said again.

"What? Scared?"

Smiling, she replied, "Just remember our bet. I'll remove it myself. Put your hand down."

Olive then slowly lifted the veil herself, revealing a delicate, exquisite face. A collective gasp filled the air as countless eyes fell upon her. Crystal, hidden in the crowd, felt her heart pound.

How could they describe her beauty? Delicate eyebrows, bright eyes, a perfect nose, and full lips formed a flawlessly beautiful face, her skin as smooth and white as a baby's. Her beauty possessed an almost ethereal purity. All present were awestruck. She was a true fairy.

Jimmy was the first to speak, "Olive, is it really you? I've never seen anyone as beautiful." "Our school's fortune has changed!" another exclaimed.
