Chapter 556: Blind Date Invitation
Levi reviewed Elvisโs resume, a flicker of satisfaction crossing his face. This tall tree, he mused, appeared quite powerful. โBro,โ Levi said, โany way to contact that handsome uncle? I really want him to be our dad.โ
Ivy, his sibling, didn't hesitate. โDonโt worry, Iโll contact him now. But if we want him to be our dad, let's have him go on a date with Mom first.โ
โA date?โ Ivy questioned, clearly unfamiliar with the concept.
Levi explained, โA blind date. It's where this handsome uncle meets our mom, and hopefully, falls in love with her.โ
โHeโll definitely like Mom,โ Ivy declared proudly. โSheโs beautiful and cute. I like her best!โ
Levi nodded. โOf course. If this handsome man has discerning taste and likes our mom, it'll be a win-win! He gets one, and we get two for the price of one!โ
With that, Levi used a tracking system to pinpoint Elvisโs IP address. Numbers scrolled across the screen in a dizzying display, but Levi's small fingers expertly navigated the keyboard, swiftly breaching Elvisโs IP protection.
โHmm,โ he murmured, โtime to send this handsome uncle aโฆ blind date invitation.โ
Meanwhile, Elvis had arrived at his villa and was in his office, conducting a video conference on his laptop. Suddenly, a โdingโ echoed, and the screen went black.
Peterson, his assistant, rushed over, alarmed. โYoung Master, what's wrong with the computer? The screen just went black!โ
Elvis frowned slightly. โSomeone hacked my computer.โ
Peterson was astonished. โWhat? How could that be? Young Master, our computer defenses are world-class! The top hackers couldn't penetrate our systems. Who hacked us? I haven't heard of any exceptional hackers recently.โ He was bewildered. The incident at the airport earlier that dayโa child with a toy gun exhibiting surprisingly good aimโhad left him unsettled. Now, a super hacker? This was the worldโs leading defense system; how skilled would this hacker have to be?
Just then, a simulated explosion of firecrackers erupted, and an invitation flashed onto the black screen.
โYoung Master,โ Peterson said, โthe hacker sent you this.โ
Elvis examined the automatically opened invitation. The message read: โHello handsome uncle, I sincerely invite you to meet my mom this weekend. Be on time!โ
Peterson was flabbergasted. Heโd expected earth-shattering consequences from this hack, and had been on high alert. Instead, the hacker sent a blind date invitation? He couldn't help but think the Young Master possessed an irresistible charm, attracting admirers from all walks of life.
โYoung Master, who is this hacker?โ
Elvisโs thin lips curved into a slight smile. โIt must beโฆ a kid.โ
โA kid?โ Peterson echoed, incredulous. โWhose kid? If he can hack your computer, that gene is incredibly powerful; he could rival Little Master Nathan!โ
Elvis paused. โGive this kid to Nathan. Let him track him down.โ
Peterson hesitated. โYoung Master, I canโt order Little Master Nathan around; he wonโt listen to us.โ
Elvis replied calmly, โGive it to him. Heโll be interested.โ
Peterson nodded, โYes, Young Master.โ He retrieved his phone and carefully dialed Lilโ Nathanโs number. The phone rang once before Lilโ Nathanโs cold voice answered, โHi, Uncle Peterson.โ
Petersonโs forehead twitched; he hadn't married yet, and the correct salutation should be "Brother Peterson." โYoung Master,โ he explained, โour computer was just hacked by a super hacker. Your father wants you to repair the system and track the hacker down.โ
There was a brief silence. Then, โIโm not interested. Let Dad do it himself.โ
Elvis snatched the phone. โThat super hacker is a kid your age. I believe itโs the boy I saw at the airport. He has exceptional skills and marksmanship; heโs a worthy opponent.โ
Lilโ Nathan was currently playing chess with Alpha. He paused his game to answer the phone. Upon hearing "airport," he frowned slightly. โOkay, send me the information.โ He hung up.
Aiden promptly produced a laptop for Lilโ Nathan. His fingers flew across the keyboard, rapidly repairing his father's defenses. Alpha, holding a black chess piece, watched his grandson, then asked, โNathan, who did you meet at the airport today?โ Heโd noticed the subtle shift in Nathanโs expression.
Lilโ Nathan didnโt stop typing. โGrandpa, I didnโt see anyone, but in the car, my heart raced; I felt like something was chasing me. But when I looked back, there was no one.โ
Alphaโs expression remained unchanged; he merely curled his lips slightly. โOh, really?โ
Soon, Lilโ Nathan had restored Elvisโs defenses and identified Leviโs location. Peterson marvelled at the restored computer interface. โNathan is truly amazing!โ
Elvis was seated in his office chair when his phone rangโit was Lilโ Nathan. He answered. Nathanโs young, cold voice stated, โHeโs at Obsidian Sky, but you donโt need to go. Heโs already running.โ
