Chapter 556: Blind Date Invitation

Levi reviewed Elvisโ€™s resume, a flicker of satisfaction crossing his face. This tall tree, he mused, appeared quite powerful. โ€œBro,โ€ Levi said, โ€œany way to contact that handsome uncle? I really want him to be our dad.โ€

Ivy, his sibling, didn't hesitate. โ€œDonโ€™t worry, Iโ€™ll contact him now. But if we want him to be our dad, let's have him go on a date with Mom first.โ€

โ€œA date?โ€ Ivy questioned, clearly unfamiliar with the concept.

Levi explained, โ€œA blind date. It's where this handsome uncle meets our mom, and hopefully, falls in love with her.โ€

โ€œHeโ€™ll definitely like Mom,โ€ Ivy declared proudly. โ€œSheโ€™s beautiful and cute. I like her best!โ€

Levi nodded. โ€œOf course. If this handsome man has discerning taste and likes our mom, it'll be a win-win! He gets one, and we get two for the price of one!โ€

With that, Levi used a tracking system to pinpoint Elvisโ€™s IP address. Numbers scrolled across the screen in a dizzying display, but Levi's small fingers expertly navigated the keyboard, swiftly breaching Elvisโ€™s IP protection.

โ€œHmm,โ€ he murmured, โ€œtime to send this handsome uncle aโ€ฆ blind date invitation.โ€

Meanwhile, Elvis had arrived at his villa and was in his office, conducting a video conference on his laptop. Suddenly, a โ€œdingโ€ echoed, and the screen went black.

Peterson, his assistant, rushed over, alarmed. โ€œYoung Master, what's wrong with the computer? The screen just went black!โ€

Elvis frowned slightly. โ€œSomeone hacked my computer.โ€

Peterson was astonished. โ€œWhat? How could that be? Young Master, our computer defenses are world-class! The top hackers couldn't penetrate our systems. Who hacked us? I haven't heard of any exceptional hackers recently.โ€ He was bewildered. The incident at the airport earlier that dayโ€”a child with a toy gun exhibiting surprisingly good aimโ€”had left him unsettled. Now, a super hacker? This was the worldโ€™s leading defense system; how skilled would this hacker have to be?

Just then, a simulated explosion of firecrackers erupted, and an invitation flashed onto the black screen.

โ€œYoung Master,โ€ Peterson said, โ€œthe hacker sent you this.โ€

Elvis examined the automatically opened invitation. The message read: โ€œHello handsome uncle, I sincerely invite you to meet my mom this weekend. Be on time!โ€

Peterson was flabbergasted. Heโ€™d expected earth-shattering consequences from this hack, and had been on high alert. Instead, the hacker sent a blind date invitation? He couldn't help but think the Young Master possessed an irresistible charm, attracting admirers from all walks of life.

โ€œYoung Master, who is this hacker?โ€

Elvisโ€™s thin lips curved into a slight smile. โ€œIt must beโ€ฆ a kid.โ€

โ€œA kid?โ€ Peterson echoed, incredulous. โ€œWhose kid? If he can hack your computer, that gene is incredibly powerful; he could rival Little Master Nathan!โ€

Elvis paused. โ€œGive this kid to Nathan. Let him track him down.โ€

Peterson hesitated. โ€œYoung Master, I canโ€™t order Little Master Nathan around; he wonโ€™t listen to us.โ€

Elvis replied calmly, โ€œGive it to him. Heโ€™ll be interested.โ€

Peterson nodded, โ€œYes, Young Master.โ€ He retrieved his phone and carefully dialed Lilโ€™ Nathanโ€™s number. The phone rang once before Lilโ€™ Nathanโ€™s cold voice answered, โ€œHi, Uncle Peterson.โ€

Petersonโ€™s forehead twitched; he hadn't married yet, and the correct salutation should be "Brother Peterson." โ€œYoung Master,โ€ he explained, โ€œour computer was just hacked by a super hacker. Your father wants you to repair the system and track the hacker down.โ€

There was a brief silence. Then, โ€œIโ€™m not interested. Let Dad do it himself.โ€

Elvis snatched the phone. โ€œThat super hacker is a kid your age. I believe itโ€™s the boy I saw at the airport. He has exceptional skills and marksmanship; heโ€™s a worthy opponent.โ€

Lilโ€™ Nathan was currently playing chess with Alpha. He paused his game to answer the phone. Upon hearing "airport," he frowned slightly. โ€œOkay, send me the information.โ€ He hung up.

Aiden promptly produced a laptop for Lilโ€™ Nathan. His fingers flew across the keyboard, rapidly repairing his father's defenses. Alpha, holding a black chess piece, watched his grandson, then asked, โ€œNathan, who did you meet at the airport today?โ€ Heโ€™d noticed the subtle shift in Nathanโ€™s expression.

Lilโ€™ Nathan didnโ€™t stop typing. โ€œGrandpa, I didnโ€™t see anyone, but in the car, my heart raced; I felt like something was chasing me. But when I looked back, there was no one.โ€

Alphaโ€™s expression remained unchanged; he merely curled his lips slightly. โ€œOh, really?โ€

Soon, Lilโ€™ Nathan had restored Elvisโ€™s defenses and identified Leviโ€™s location. Peterson marvelled at the restored computer interface. โ€œNathan is truly amazing!โ€

Elvis was seated in his office chair when his phone rangโ€”it was Lilโ€™ Nathan. He answered. Nathanโ€™s young, cold voice stated, โ€œHeโ€™s at Obsidian Sky, but you donโ€™t need to go. Heโ€™s already running.โ€
