Chapter 557

Olive’s fiancé, Elvis, wasn't surprised. Lil’ Nathan had activated the anti-tracking system; the super hacker on the other end should have recognized it instantly. Elvis remained silent as Lil’ Nathan continued, “Don’t worry about the kid. Leave him to me.” Lil’ Nathan hung up. Hearing the dial tone, Elvis muttered, “The only people who dare hang up on me are Lil’ Nathan and my mother! And, of course, that one kid who made me raise my hands at the airport today!” Elvis narrowed his long, dark eyes. Ivy’s rosy, jade-like face, a miniature Olive, flashed in his mind. He quickly guessed the children's identities, his thin lips curving into a cold line.

Just then, Peterson approached with a serious expression. “Young Master, I’ve received a message.”

Elvis said, “Speak.”

“Tomorrow, the Visionary princess arrives in Greenland to discuss marriage with Liam Theodore, King of the Gold City.”

Logan Theodore had many sons and daughters, Liam being the most outstanding. Liam, Greenland’s top general, held the Gold City, a title bestowed by Logan in his youth. He possessed his own mansion and was always considered the closest to inheriting the lordship. However, Logan favored Concubine Molly’s son. Molly, a captivating beauty, had borne him a son and daughter. Her daughter, Clara, was a favorite of Logan. Because Logan favored her son, Aaron, he held considerable power within the palace. Liam and Aaron were locked in a silent rivalry, both vying for supreme power. The Visionary princess’s sudden arrival, and Liam’s selection as a leading candidate for the throne, changed everything.

Elvis’s eyebrows furrowed. He looked at Peterson and asked, “Who is the Visionary princess?”

Sweat beaded on Peterson’s forehead. “Young Master, the mysterious Visionary Kingdom, lost for a century, has reappeared. The Visionary princess is back… and Olive is to become the princess of Greenland’s Gold City. If I’m not mistaken, Olive is aiming for Greenland’s throne.”

Silence fell over the office. Only then did Elvis understand the true purpose of Olive’s return after three years. Her trip to Imperial had been a mere detour. Her reappearance, carrying the secret of Visionary’s disappearance, signaled the beginning of a power struggle in Greenland.

Will she marry Liam? What is her true purpose? Greenland and Visionary share a deep historical connection; each Visionary princess traditionally marries Greenland’s crown prince, maintaining a commonwealth through marriage. Now Olive must honor this age-old pact and marry Liam?

A storm brewed in Elvis’s eyes, yet they remained inscrutable, like twin abysses. Peterson stood quietly, respectfully, not daring to interrupt. Olive’s return brought Visionary back into the world, ensuring a sleepless night for many. The public, however, was abuzz with anticipation. Tomorrow, the Visionary princess would parade through the streets in a wedding carriage. Crowds eagerly awaited a glimpse of this enigmatic princess.

Just then, Elvis’s phone rang. It was Clara. He answered, his voice deep and magnetic, “Hello.”

“Augustine, it’s me. How are you? Am I disturbing you?” Clara’s sweet voice flowed through the line.

Elvis pursed his lips. “No, you’re not.”

“Mr. Augustine, tomorrow the Visionary princess arrives. My father is hosting a welcome party at the palace. All the princes, princesses, and dignitaries will be there. I’d like to invite you. Might I ask if you’ll require a companion?”

Elvis paused before replying, “Okay, see you tomorrow.”

At Obsidian Sky, Levi immediately shut down his computer and rushed to Aunty Cora’s room. “Aunty Cora, it’s serious! We need to go!”

Aunty Cora was startled. “Little master, what’s happened? Let me grab a couple of things. It’s cold; you mustn’t catch a cold.”

“It’s urgent. Someone’s after me. Let’s go!” He grabbed Aunty Cora with one hand and Ivy with the other, leaving Obsidian Sky without a backward glance, hailing a taxi.

Ivy, her large, lovely eyes wide, wiped her brother’s sweat. “Bro, what’s wrong? You’re so powerful, you’ve never lost before. Did you meet a master?”

Levi took a deep breath. “More than a master. I wasn’t prepared, almost exposed, but… finding me wasn’t easy.” He offered a triumphant smile.

Suddenly, his phone vibrated. An unknown number. He answered, silent. A cold young voice responded, “Who are you?”

Levi’s heart pounded. Telepathy surged again. Without answering, he asked, “Who are you?”

Nathan replied, “I’ll change the question: Who is your mother? I’ll answer first. My mother is… Olive Hart!” Nathan’s tone was commanding, assured.

Levi was silent. Telepathy was real. Coincidentally, his mother’s name was also Olive Hart. The cold, young voice on the other end belonged to his brother!

Nathan, seated on the soft woolen rug, phone in hand, his dark eyes sharp and cold, said, “I’m giving you a chance to run. But return to your place. I don’t want to see you.”

He hung up. Hearing the dial tone, Levi stuck out his tongue, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. “My brother’s so powerful! I don’t want to hear that!”
