Aunt Annabelle must be the princess who fled with Logan, taken to Imperial City by a servant girl.” When Joyce and Annabelle became friends over twenty years ago, Joyce was unaware that Annabelle was Logan's imperial sister. Joyce also looked at the moon. “Olive, Visionary harbors deep hatred for Greenland. As Visionary's princess and future queen, you have a mission. But if Elvis reigns, you two can never be together.”

“I know,” Olive replied, nodding. “That's why I don't want Aunt Annabelle and Elvis to know their heritage.”

“Your aunt has a cold temperament; it matters little to her. Elvis is your concern…” Joyce paused. “Derrick sent word: your Aunt Annabelle's mother is in Liam's hands. What do you think of Liam?”

Olive answered, “Liam is Greenland's top general, brave and resourceful. He understands the situation but remains uninvolved, clearly unconcerned with imperial power. He's assessing, waiting. Since he identified the servant girl, Liam awaits someone—Greenland's true master. He'll find Elvis!”

Joyce nodded. “True. Your aunt wants to see her foster mother. If Annabelle meets, her background will be exposed.”

Olive pondered, then said, “I have a plan.” Seeing Olive's calm demeanor, Joyce knew her daughter had it covered.

“Olive, should Derrick help tomorrow?”

“No need. Now's not the time for Derrick; he's too conspicuous, too disruptive,” Olive firmly refused.

Joyce remained silent, acknowledging her daughter's superior judgment. “Logan has favored Molly for years. I’m unsure of her status among the Mermen. The higher-ranking Mermen possess superior seduction skills; Logan fell for her seduction,” Joyce added.

“Elvis, a child of the bloodline, is Greenland's rightful ruler. Can he resist seduction?”
