Olive smiled, but remained silent.

Liam said in a deep voice, “Princess of Visionary, I sense Luana is targeting you. Molly is watching you as well. Be careful.”

Olive raised a delicate, willow-leaf eyebrow. “What is there to fear? One comes, I deal with one. Two come, I deal with two!”

Liam nodded, observing the calm in Olive’s eyes. The princess beside him seemed prepared; tonight promised to be exciting.

The royal physician rushed over. “Concubine Luana, please come with me to the ultrasound room in the side hall. At a glance, I can tell it's twins.”

Luana replied, “Very well, doctor. I’ll go with you, but please be thorough.”

“Certainly.”

Luana followed the doctor to the side hall. Logan waited anxiously outside. He had many children, but a late-in-life birth, especially twins, was considered an auspicious omen—extremely important to him.

They trembled, nodding in agreement.

Molly stepped forward. “My lord, please don’t worry. The contents of Luana’s womb are our most precious treasure; we will be most careful. In a good mood, Logan forgot his recent troubles and nodded.

Luana softly said, “My lord, I’m rather tired. I wish to rest.”

It wasn't a servant, but Molly.

Molly said, “Luana, pregnancy hasn't made you any less arrogant.”

Molly interrupted, cutting off Luana’s attempt at flattery. “Luana, let’s be direct. Drink this medicine.”

A maid presented a bowl of black liquid.
