Chapter 631 Private Yacht

Levi pondered, then said, "I think Mummy's current situation is very passive. It's likely controlled by others."

"Yes, and Daddy is also acting strangely," Nathan added.

"What's strange about him?"

"I recognized the imposter, but Daddy didn't. He doesn't seem thatโ€ฆunintelligent."

Levi found this odd, too. In his experience, his father was very sharp.

"I think we don't fully understand the situation. Acting rashly might worsen Mummy's predicament. Since 'Sadie' is currently posing as her, I believe the key lies with Daddy."

Nathan considered this, then nodded. "Then we don't need to act now. We just need to help Daddy expose the fake Mummy and recognize our real one."

Levi agreed, "Exactly."

The two young strategists reached a consensus and adjourned their meeting. Levi leapt from his chair. "It's up to you to create opportunities for Dad to realize that woman isn't our Mummy."

"Don't get me wrong," Nathan cautioned, "we're only cooperating temporarily for Mummy's sake. Remember, Mummy is for me and Father only; you have no role here, understood?"

Levi yearned to tell Nathan he was his long-lost brother, separated for three years! Instead, he simply left the room.

Alpha awaited him outside. Levi hesitated, then tried to slip away.

But Alpha's deep voice stopped him. "Levi, are you leaving without saying goodbye to Grandfather?"

Levi halted, turned, and chuckled. "Grandfather, anything else I need to do?"

Alpha regarded him calmly. "What do you think?"

Levi felt trapped. He couldn't run away on his grandfather's turf.

"Grandfather, do you want to see Grandma?"

A flicker of emotion crossed Alpha's deep, narrow eyes. "Does she want to see me?"

Levi shook his head sadly. "Not at all."

"You could have omitted that last part," Alpha said, displeasure evident. He knew Annabelle didn't want to see him; Levi's emphasis was unnecessary.

"Alright, Grandfather. When Mummy's situation is resolved, I'll arrange a meeting for you and Grandma. How does that sound?"

Alpha was silent, then nodded. He'd waited years; a little longer wouldn't hurt.

Nathan expressed a desire to go to sea. It was his first such request, so Elvis immediately arranged a private yacht for a sailing trip.

Clara was among the invited guests, bringing Olive along. Aboard the yacht, Clara was selecting a bikini, asking Elvis, "Mr. Augustine, which one do you think suits me best?"

Elvis glanced at them. "Any would look good on you, as long as you like it."

"Olive?" Clara faltered, hearing a soft voice.

North had arrived! Clara knew North, the rising star who'd been her childhood friend.

"North, why are you here?" Clara managed a smile.

North stepped forward, taking Clara's hands. "Olive, are you unhappy to see me?"

Clara froze. Was her displeasure that obvious?

"No, you're a big star now, incredibly busy. I didn't expect you to come."

North looked at Clara, tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, revealing a radiant face. "I'm here for a surprise." She then focused on the bikinis. "Olive, are you choosing a bikini?"

"Yes, North. I'm not sure which to pick. You have excellent taste, you could help," Clara said, knowing North's keen aesthetic sense.

"Okay," North pointed to a bikini. "This one is lovely."

Clara was delighted. Then, North's gaze shifted to Olive.

"Olive, is this your female official, Sadie? Since we're all here, perhaps she'd like a bikini, too?"

Clara was taken aback. She'd brought Olive as an observer, not a participant. Olive had remained quiet, cooperating fully. Seeing North, however, her clear eyes brightened. No one anticipated North's arrival.

"What do you think, Olive?" North approached Olive, assessing her figure. "Olive, you have a fantastic figure; a bikini would look stunning on you."

"I thinkโ€ฆ" Clara began, but North interrupted. "Women can't always judge another woman's beauty. We need a man's opinion. President Augustine, what do you think of this young woman's physique?"

Elvis shoved his hands into his pockets. His narrow, deep eyes lingered on Olive's slender form, taking in her graceful figure. He found her appealing.

Olive felt his gaze and met his eyes. Realizing he was looking at Sadie, Elvis pursed his lips, displeasure evident.

Olive was confused. Why was he angry again? She hadn't done anything.

"Sadie, look at that woman in a bikini. You're even more beautiful. You need one! Let's go, I'll help you pick. Right, Olive?" North looked expectantly at Clara.

Clara could only nod, "Yes."

North promptly pulled Olive away. In the room, North gestured to the array of bikinis. "Choose whatever you like."

Olive's upbringing differed from North's. She was more reserved, having rarely worn a bikini except for that time North dragged her to the hot springs.
