Chapter 680: Let Mom and Dad Sleep Together

Ivy quickly stopped crying, her big, watery eyes fixed on Elvis. “Really, handsome uncle? Can I see my mom now?”

“Of course, you can. I’ll take you,” Elvis said, taking Ivy’s small hand and leading her outside.

The father and daughter departed. Levi went to the room's balcony, looking down at his mother still standing below. “Mom, I can only get you this far. Dad personally brought my sister down. You’ll have to continue on your own,” he mused.

Outside the mansion, Olive pulled out her phone, intending to call Elvis. But at that moment, with a “bang,” the villa door burst open, and the interior lights went out. Olive looked up as Elvis and Ivy appeared.

“Mom!” Ivy cried, immediately running towards her.

Olive outstretched her arms, catching and hugging Ivy. She kissed Ivy’s face repeatedly, asking, “Ivy, did you miss me? I missed you so much.”

Ivy happily wrapped her arms around Olive’s neck, kissing her mother’s face. Smiling innocently, she said, “Of course, I missed Mom every day. I cried because I missed you.”

Seeing Ivy’s tear-reddened eyes, Olive’s heart ached. She showered Ivy with more kisses to comfort her. Ivy giggled in her mother’s embrace.

Elvis watched the reunion. Despite his anger toward Olive, the sight of them softened his heart.

Olive finally met Elvis’ gaze. “Where’s Levi? Mr. Augustine, call him out. I want to take the children home.”

Olive's frustration was evident. She intended to leave immediately, her unspoken question hanging in the air: Did he understand her motherly distress? His earlier inaction, leaving her waiting outside, angered her.

Elvis pursed his lips, his hawk-like eyes narrowing as he looked at Olive. “Going home? Which home? Isn’t this Levi and Ivy’s home?”

Olive’s eyelashes trembled. Could he know Levi and Ivy’s background?

Elvis saw her surprise. “Olive, you’re a liar. How long will you deceive me?”

Olive’s pupils constricted. He knew. She hadn’t intended to keep it from him, simply hoping to find the right time; she never expected this.

Elvis then looked at Ivy, saying softly, “Ivy, will you sleep at my house tonight?”

Ivy quickly looked to Olive for guidance. “Mom, can we sleep here tonight? Uncle is very good to us, he really likes us.”

Chapter 690: Lei Mein and Dad

Ivy still harbored the wish for Elvis to be her father. With her mother present, she wanted to give them a chance. Seeing Ivy’s longing, and knowing Elvis was aware of the children's parentage, Olive nodded. “Okay, we’ll sleep here tonight.”

“Great!” Ivy cheered.

Olive carried Ivy upstairs. Levi was already asleep beside her. Ivy snuggled into Olive’s chest. “Mom, what do you think of the handsome uncle?”

“Ivy, why are you asking that?”

“He’s very nice. Grandma said people are judged by their appearance. He’s very handsome, tall, and strong. She says he’s the best and will protect you. I want him to be my dad. Mom, do you like him?” Ivy asked, her wide eyes questioning.

Olive was speechless. She had slept soundly in Visionary for two years; Ivy was raised by her mother, Joyce, and her grandmother had instilled the importance of appearances in Ivy. She was surprised by Ivy's instant affection for Elvis.

Olive touched Ivy’s hair. “Ivy, I have something to tell you. That handsome uncle… is your dad!”

Ivy’s mouth dropped open. “Mom, is that true?”

“Of course,” Olive nodded.

Just then, the door clicked open, and Elvis entered. He saw the whispering mother and daughter. “Why aren’t you asleep yet? What are you talking about?”

“Handsome uncle, Mom and I are talking about you. Let me tell you a secret,” Ivy said mysteriously.

Elvis approached the bed, looking lovingly at Ivy. “What secret?”

“Mom said you’re my dad!”

Elvis stared at Olive. Olive, unprepared for Ivy’s revelation, hugged her daughter. “Ivy, go to sleep.”

Ivy patted the empty space beside her. “Handsome uncle, let’s sleep together tonight. You should sleep here.” Before Olive could respond, Elvis lay down. “Ivy, what should you call me?”

“Dad,” Ivy replied, happily but shyly.

Elvis felt a ripple in his heart. He leaned down and kissed Ivy’s face. “Ivy, I love you.”

Ivy happily said, “Dad, Mom, I’m going to sleep.”

“Sleep,” Olive said, tucking Ivy in.

But Ivy woke, moving to one side of the bed. “Mom will sleep with Dad…”

Olive’s face flushed. “Ivy, you…”

“Dad, don’t worry. I understand. Grandma said I need to be reasonable, sleep in my own bed, and let Mom and Dad sleep together. Because Mom and Dad are about to have my baby brother!” Ivy covered her mouth, smiling.

Olive was speechless. “…”
