Chapter 64: Look at Her Legs

โ€œWoah!โ€ Olive muttered incredulously.

โ€œSo, technically, Raven likes Pamela, but Pamela is interested in Elvis Augustine, and Elvis and Raven are good friends who grew up together,โ€ North added.

โ€œWow, I didnโ€™t expect Pamela to be so strategic,โ€ Olive uttered, still absorbing the information.

North grabbed a nude silk nightdress and handed it to Olive. โ€œDonโ€™t ruin our mood. President Augustine will definitely love this nightdress. Come try it on.โ€

Raven and Pamela stood at a distance, discussing. With a beautiful smile, Pamela said, โ€œRaven, I just returned to LA. Why donโ€™t you invite President Augustine to hang out with us?โ€

Ravenโ€™s eyes were focused on the boutique; he replied indifferently, โ€œI can help you send him an invitation, but his attendance depends solely on him.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s fine, Raven. Thank you.โ€

Raven said nothing more. Pamela followed Ravenโ€™s gaze, which landed on North. Raven was staring at North.

After North ushered Olive into the dressing room, she picked up the fashion magazine lying on the couch and began reading. Aside from Northโ€™s beautiful face, her figure was strikingly evident. Her ample breasts and buttocks added to her allure. With her beautiful face and gorgeous figure, North had quickly become popular in the entertainment industry. Pamela focused her gaze on Northโ€™s simple gray suit and skirt. The gray was surprisingly striking. The hem of the suit was pleated, adding sophistication. North wore a pair of black lace-up boots. Pamela could only acknowledge Northโ€™s impeccable fashion sense. For the past two years, she had modeled for luxury brands, always the first to receive the newest designs. North was clearly living the life every girl dreamed of.

Pamela looked back at Raven; his gaze remained fixed on North. Pamela knew he was looking at Northโ€™s legs. Northโ€™s legs were bare and visible. Although the pleated skirt covered her knees, her slender legs were noticeable. Even as a woman, Pamela couldn't help but stare. To distract Raven, she hastily said, โ€œRaven, why donโ€™t you go to your meeting. Iโ€™ll go shopping with Gwen.โ€

Raven stared at North one last time, as if taking a final, lingering look. He withdrew his gaze and muttered, โ€œIโ€™ll go ahead.โ€ He quickly walked away, followed by the company executives.

โ€œPamela, what were you discussing with Raven?โ€ Gwen asked the moment Raven was out of sight. Gwen and Pamela had a close personal relationship, but this didn't prevent Gwenโ€™s jealousy. She also knew Raven liked Pamela.

Pamela held Gwenโ€™s hand and replied, โ€œGwen, Iโ€™ve told you, Raven and I are just friends. If anything were to happen between us, it would have happened long ago. The person I like is Elvis Augustine.โ€

โ€œElvis is my dream man! I asked Raven to help invite Elvis. That will give me a chance to be with him,โ€ Pamela added.

Hearing this, Gwen relaxed slightly. She grinned and said, โ€œPamela, you really are the best.โ€

Pamela sighed sadly. โ€œThe Heaven family was originally betrothed to the Domino family. You were to marry Raven, but then North appeared.โ€

Gwenโ€™s fury flared. She glared at North, who was still reading the magazine. With venomous jealousy, she hissed, โ€œSooner or later, Iโ€™ll make her disappear.โ€

Pamela smirked with satisfaction. Smart women, she thought, never soiled their hands; others did it for them.

Olive tried on the nude nightdress. North thought it was perfect. Olive handed the nightdress to the sales associate.

Gwen approached them and taunted Olive angrily. โ€œOlive, do you know how much that nightdress costs? Five thousand dollars! Youโ€™re broke, where are you going to get the money? Too bad you married an incompetent man.โ€

Few knew Elvis owned the Red Villa. Raven and Harry hadnโ€™t told anyone, not even Harryโ€™s sister, Gwen.

Pamela intervened, โ€œOlive, your husband at the Red Villa canโ€™t afford this nightdress, can he? But donโ€™t worry, if you really like it, Iโ€™ll pay for you.โ€

Pamela was already getting her card from her purse when Olive said, โ€œWait a minute.โ€

โ€œOlive, no need to be ashamed,โ€ Pamela said.

โ€œHuh? No, no, I mean I havenโ€™t finished shopping yet.โ€ Olive picked more clothes and handed them to the sales associate. โ€œI want all of them. This bag is pretty, and these shoes arenโ€™t bad. Pack them all for me.โ€

Olive selected numerous clothes, shoes, and bags. Gwen, the adored princess of the Heaven family, spent lavishly, but she was stunned; sheโ€™d never purchased so many items in one go. She couldnโ€™t help but ask, โ€œOlive, are you crazy?โ€

Olive ignored Gwen. She faced Pamela and smiled calmly. โ€œAre you still going to pay for me?โ€

The total cost of Oliveโ€™s purchases amounted to tens of thousands. Pamela wasnโ€™t foolish enough to let Olive take advantage of her. She looked at Olive worriedly.

โ€œOlive, you really need to learn to be a good person. If you donโ€™t have the money, do you think itโ€™s fair to let this lady carry all this? Isnโ€™t that immoral?โ€

โ€œItโ€™s not just wicked, Olive, itโ€™s a crime! Iโ€™ll call the police and have them take you away!โ€ Gwen frantically searched her bag for her phone.

Olive raised an eyebrow and asked, โ€œSave your breath, dear. Miss, may I pay with this card?โ€ Olive handed a black and gold card to the cashier.

Pamela and Gwenโ€™s eyebrows shot up; their expressions changed drastically.
