Chapter 97

Kyle shook his head before saying, "You're so weak, I'm not even sure you can stand up straight. You've probably been indulging yourself, right? What do you want me to do for you? Do you want me to help you kill those people, or maybe kill some women so you can get off on their limp bodies? Even if I agreed to help you, you still wouldn't be able to do it, right? Is your manhood even functioning at this point?"

Hearing this, Henderson's face immediately paled. Ava Tesidi, the atmosphere in the living room grew thick with tension; even the bodyguards behind Henderson stood petrified. It was a direct assault on Henderson's pride; Kyle had deliberately insulted Henderson and trampled all over his dignity.

It might not be known to the public, but those who worked under Henderson knew, to some extent, that he was sexually impaired. It was a secret no one dared reveal, for the consequences would be grave and unforgiving.

Yet, despite their overwhelming fear, they couldn't help but wonder how Kyle had uncovered this closely guarded secret.

A dark look crossed Henderson's face, but he managed a weak smile, saying, "I'm not sure what you're hinting at, Mr. Archer. Is that, perhaps, a dig at me? I don't think there's any need for that. I don't need to prove my manhood to anyone."

Kyle smiled faintly and said, "You're Henderson Khan, the third generation of the illustrious Khan family. Your father is Zander Khan. You grew up under Mr. Khan Senior's care. You're not the sharpest tool in the shed, but you're a decent enough fellow.

"I'm not going to waste my breath explaining how you ended up like this. You ought to know that Mr. Khan Senior often spoke of you with a mixture of sadness and disappointment. I couldn't help but wonder if you still remember your grandfather, the one who showed you the world."

This triggered a flood of memories.

Henderson was reduced to silence. He had no idea how Kyle knew all that, and his

It was known that the Khan family's history spanned over a hundred years, and Moses had personally raised his fair share of them—yet, Henderson held a special place in his heart. Henderson had lost his mother at a young age, and Zander, overwhelmed by grief, was unable to properly care for him.

In fact, Henderson missed Moses terribly. His eyes welled up with tears as he whispered, "Did Grandpa tell you all these things?"

Kyle avoided answering Henderson's question. He instead stated calmly, "Your current state suggests that you still have a conscience. It is because of that that I showed you some mercy.

"I'm quite curious, though, is this really what you want out of your life—wasting your life away, drifting aimlessly, and disappointing Mr. Khan Senior?

I can assure you, Mr. Khan Senior is doing fine. He's got other things on his plate, and he's pursuing his own interests. He won't be returning to the Khan family anytime soon. However, I can assure you that Mr. Khan Senior is constantly worried about you."

Upon hearing this, Henderson choked up. His time in the Khan family had been far from easy. He lacked power, influence, and remarkable talent, so he had never been able to become a core member of the Khan family.

It was fine when Moses was around, but once he left, there was no one to hold the family together. In the family, where hierarchy ruled, being marginalized meant that even a legitimate heir would still be subjected to mistreatment.

With this in mind, Henderson raised his hand and waved it slightly, saying, "You can all leave now."

Justin suddenly stepped forward, eagerly showing his loyalty to Henderson. "I'll stay late to protect you, Mr. Khan! I'll do whatever it takes to—"

Yet, before Justin could finish his sentence, Henderson roared, "Get out!"

Henderson's rage had completely shattered his composure. His low growl sent Justin and the other bodyguards scurrying out of the living room. Henderson then lit a cigarette and took a long drag, calming himself before narrowing his eyes at Kyle. "I'll be honest, you've got me there. However, if you think that's going to make the Khan family back down, you're sorely mistaken. I'm sure you understand the significance of what you have in your possession."

Kyle remained calm and composed as he asked, "Are you questioning Mr. Khan Senior's judgment? Or do you think he's so senile that he'd send me here on a—"
