Lemira heard noises outside, but darkness shrouded everything. Orion's jacket enveloped her, offering a measure of protection. She felt safer now, at least temporarily out of immediate danger.

Orion, gazing down at the two unconscious bodyguards, his lips a thin line, said, "Since they refuse to talk, ensure they never speak again." The bodyguards' pallor deepened at the sight of Orion carrying the girl. Who would have guessed this orphan, this girl with no parents, would be saved by the Orvin power heir?

Orion carried Lemira into the private elevator. She nestled in his arms, her head hidden beneath his jacket, unable to see anything. Her mind raced. Her hands, knuckles white with tension, gripped his collar. He descended in the private elevator.

Susanna, hurrying up the stairs from the other side, glimpsed Orion entering the elevator, a girl in his arms. Though mostly concealed by the jacket, Susanna clearly saw it was a woman. Startled, she hid, having been waiting impatiently for the bodyguards and decided to investigate herself.

Orion! What was happening? Did he have another woman? And where was that little tramp, Lemira? Just as Susanna moved to approach, bodyguards blocked her path.

"Do you know who I am? You dare block my way!" she spat, glaring at them. She had seen Orion with another woman—a situation demanding clarification and immediate reporting to her sister. She couldn't allow some outsider to exploit this.

But the bodyguards remained firm, barring her advance. Frustrated, Susanna stamped her foot. "Damn it, let me through!"

Evelina approached. "Ms. Sinclair, what's the matter?"

"These people dare to block me! My sister is engaged to the Everhart heir. If my brother-in-law learns you're hindering me, he won't let you off the hook!"

At the mention of the Everhart heir, Evelina's eyes lit up. "You mean the Orvin power heir was in that private room?" The Orvin power heir, from Orvin's wealthiest family—a chance she wouldn't miss.

Susanna replied, exasperated, "Yes. My brother-in-law always demands privacy, clearing out anyone unwanted. I have no idea where that tramp Lemira has hidden herself."

"Ms. Sinclair, Lemira must be hiding. Once the power heir leaves, we'll find her."

"Hmph, this time I'll ruin her, ensuring she never crosses me again."

Evelina welcomed Susanna's words. Capturing Lemira and obtaining those videos would give her lasting leverage. Lemira wouldn't dare defy her then, always under Evelina's control. She eagerly anticipated that day.

In a private room at the corridor's end, Thaddeus calmly wiped blood from his hands. "You have some nerve," he said, referring to their interference with the girl Orion valued above all.

"Mr. Draven, we're from the Sinclair family, following Ms. Sinclair's orders to capture that girl."

"Tsk, the Sinclair family means nothing!" Thaddeus had heard about Susanna and her clique's past school antics—serious problems smoothed over by the Sinclairs.
