Chapter 292

She couldn't imagine how many girls Jackson had deceived with his tricks. Michelle spoke directly: "Jackson, you better watch out before karma catches up with you."

"Michelle, I swear I'm telling the truth! They always make the first move," Jackson defended, then turned to Lemira with eagerness. "I had no idea you were SweetLemon! Why didn't you say something earlier? Our team could really use someone like you!"

"I refuse to join. It's too messy for my taste," Lemira retorted, her disdain evident. "Unless you leave the team, then maybe I'll consider it."

Jackson's face fell, but he dared not reply. Lemira was someone he couldn't afford to offend.

Other popular streamers approached. "Ms. Lemon, let's have a friendly match. We've never had the chance before, and today seems like the perfect opportunity," one said. Another added, "And I'm still stuck on that technical issue you mentioned. Can you help me take a look?"

Soon, Lemira was surrounded by eager streamers. Jackson watched from afar, regretting his lack of seriousness now that he knew her renown. Fooling college girls had always been too easy for him.

Clara, watching Lemira's triumph, felt a mix of jealousy and anger. She'd always looked down on Lemira, considering her a country bumpkin, and now she was humiliated.

Janice whispered, "Let's go to the infirmary; you're hurt."

Clara glanced unwittingly at Jackson, but he ignored her, leaving her to slink away.

After mingling, Lemira's mood brightened. A girl from the club approached: "Lemira, could I get a picture with you?"

"Sure."

Lemira's agreement sparked a flurry of requests. Soon, pictures flooded the college forum: SweetLemon, the famous streamer, was freshman Lemira! The post went viral, especially given her unparalleled phone-locking feats.

Later, Michelle approached: "I'm inviting you to rejoin the Reapers. It won't interfere with the national team!"

"Alright, I'll think about it."

Jackson's presence made Lemira hesitant. Michelle, however, felt happier, believing Jackson had finally done something worthwhile.

Back at the dorm, Lemira quickly fell asleep. The next day, she was awakened by Clara's crying.

"Clara, maybe we should call the police."

"No, he took naked pictures and videos of me. If I report him, he'll threaten to share them with our classmates."

Clara was inconsolable. Unable to sleep, Lemira got up and went to the bathroom.

Clara, spiteful, said, "Unless someone can hack into that jerk's phone and delete those photos and videos!" Lemira, the only one capable, ignored her.

Realizing Lemira's inaction, Clara's frustration grew. Upon Lemira's return, Clara accused, "Lemira, you clearly heard me. Why didn't you say anything?"

Lemira calmly replied, "Do I look like a saint to you?"
