After Lemira’s words, the girls outside also started to speak up, “You’re right. It’s Clara’s parents who messed up. Why should you back down?”

“Lemira, we support you if you decide to call the cops!”

Lemira glanced at the students outside, “Thanks for your concern, everyone.”

Once the crowd had left, Janice hesitated before speaking, “Lemira, I can clean up the sheets and everything. Can we let Clara’s parents off the hook? I’m not trying to play the hero; I just think Clara only has her parents to rely on now.”

Lemira looked at Janice, “Stop tidying up. We can’t stay here tonight. Come stay at my place.”

“You bought a place nearby?”

“Yeah, close to the campus.”

Lemira informed the counselor about the dorm situation and took Janice back to her place. Janice checked out the price of Lemira’s place and gasped. It’s expensive.

The next day, Lemira and Janice returned to school together. But Evelina was waiting outside the classroom. As soon as she saw Lemira, she stepped forward, “Lemira, can we talk alone for a moment?”
