Lemira hadn't given it much thought. After all, in her previous life, Evelina was always chasing Dorian, trying to marry into a wealthy family. She figured someone like Evelina wouldn't even give the Langston family a second glance. Lemira shook her head, “I’m not sure about that.”

After a while, Stella spoke up, “You guys go on back to the dorms. You don’t have to wait for me.”
Janice was quick to respond, “There’s not much time left anyway. I already talked to the dorm keeper and said we’d be back later. It’s fine.”
Lemira added, “We came as three, we leave as three.”
Stella could hardly meet Lemira’s eyes. Her hands, hidden under the blanket, slowly clenched, but she said nothing more. In the end, the three of them headed back to the dorm together. Janice and Lemira intentionally slowed their pace to match Stella’s.
Back at the dorm, Lemira washed up and collapsed onto her bed, the day’s activities having worn her out. With no classes the next morning, Lemira slept in until noon.
When she finally got out of bed, she was surprised to see a spread of delicious food on the table. She hadn’t expected Stella to eat so well in the dorm.

Lemira realized that her new roommate was probably trying to thank them, hence the invitation to share a meal. She didn’t decline.

Evelina’s expression soured the moment she noticed Lemira’s arrival. With an amused look, Lemira asked the manager, “Is Evelina struggling with her performance?”
“Ms. Sterling is still a newbie. Her acting skills aren’t quite there yet.”
Turning to Evelina, Lemira said, “Make sure you learn a lot from the director. Don’t squander the resources the company is providing you.”
Evelina’s eyes flared with anger. Ever since Lemira became the company’s main shareholder, everyone had been quick to change their allegiance. It was infuriating!
After speaking, Lemira headed to the training base, not wanting to linger outside. Nearby, someone asked the manager, “Weren’t we told Ms. Sterling was going to take over the company? How did it switch to her?”
“You just don’t get it,” the manager replied. “Lemira is a Langston. Siblings never stay mad at each other for long. After a bit of drama, everything’s back to normal. Outsiders will always be outsiders.”
This was meant for Evelina’s ears. After all, if she hadn’t provoked Caspian with that video, the livestream incident wouldn’t have happened, and Caspian wouldn’t have ended up with a disfigured face. Now that Lemira was the main shareholder of the entertainment company, it was clear that family ties were stronger than anything else.
