Jennifer also didn’t know if she even had the courage to face Teresa as a sister again. Jennifer wished she could turn back time, but she knew it was not possible.

Teresa didn’t hide anything. “She wants me to go to the courthouse and get her divorce certificate.”

Jonathan frowned. “But I booked you and Mike on a flight for tonight.”

“I want to help her with this one last thing before I leave,” Teresa said. “One more day won’t make a difference!”

The courthouse wouldn’t issue the divorce certificate until Jennifer’s cooling-off period was over, which would be the next day. Therefore, Teresa couldn’t leave today.

Teresa still wanted to finish what Jennifer had asked her to do. Besides, there were words Teresa still wanted to tell Donald. Otherwise, even if she left, she would still have something on her mind.
