Listen to this chapter:

Rachel found Samanthaโ€™s accusation laughable.

โ€œSamantha, touch your heart and ask yourself if youโ€™re being fair. You werenโ€™t innocent, and youโ€™re just reaping what you sow. Do you really think itโ€™s right of you to push all the blame to me?โ€

However, Samanthaโ€™s anger was at its height. No one knew how horrible life had been after her divorce with William. She had some money after divorcing William, which was enough for a comfortable life for herself. Of course, it couldnโ€™t compare to the luxury she used to enjoy, but it was way better than being the object of everyoneโ€™s ridicule right now.

However, some bastard exposed the fact that she had been unfaithful in her marriage. Now, everyone was cyberbullying her on the internet. People would even gossip about her blatantly whenever they bumped into her. She was invited to a small-scale event but ended up getting spotted by a netizen, causing everything to descend into chaos. People hurled empty bottles and cans at her, making her want to leave early. To her dismay, the organizer informed her that she was not allowed to leave early and had to complete her run before she could get paid. No one could understand how she felt at that time.

And it was all Rachelโ€™s fault! If Tyler hadnโ€™t exposed her secret to exact revenge for Rachel, William would have forced himself to stay in the marriage on account of their past affection for each other. Samantha would still be the glorious Mrs. Lewis, even if William treated her coldly. She went to such great lengths and planned so much just to snatch the title of Mrs. Lewis away from Rachel. She thought life would be smooth sailing from then on. But then, Rachel returned from abroad. The more Samantha thought about it, the brighter the fire burned in her chest. Her eyes were venomous as she glared at Rachel.

โ€œHow can I not blame you, Rachel? If you hadnโ€™t come back, if you had remained overseas, weโ€™d both still be fine! Why must you appear before William again?โ€

Rachel thought Samantha looked as crazy as Yvette once did. The difference was that Yvette finally came to her senses, while Samantha was still blinded by her own emotions.

โ€œSamantha, can you please wake up? Itโ€™s my freedom to decide where I want to go. That was what you said back then, wasnโ€™t it? The one who isnโ€™t loved anymore is the homewrecker. After I came back, I didnโ€™t go looking for William to get back with him. He was the one who came looking for meโ€”and I rejected him. Whatโ€™s the root cause behind all this? Isnโ€™t it because you didnโ€™t keep your man on a tight leash?โ€

Chapter 918

Rachel had hit the nail on the head.

Samanthaโ€™s voice rose one pitch higher.

โ€œQuit being so smug! If William succumbed to his own lust, all the more itโ€™ll happen to Tyler! Just you wait, Rachel. Tyler just finds you fresh and novel. By the time you turn old and haggard, just see if he treats you the same as he does now.โ€

โ€œThatโ€™s between the two of us,โ€ Rachel said. She couldnโ€™t be bothered to continue arguing with Samantha and turned to leave.

Samantha, however, refused to let her go.

Rachelโ€™s ire rose. She turned to warn Samantha with a cold glare.

โ€œLet me go!โ€

Samantha grabbed Rachelโ€™s wrist tight. โ€œA homewrecker like you deserves death and nothing else! Got that?โ€

Rachelโ€™s eyes turned icy as she threatened, โ€œSamantha, do you think Tyler will let you live if I die? Rather than venting your frustrations on others, you should be thinking about whatโ€™s wrong with yourself!โ€

She shook Samantha off and walked in the opposite direction. Trying to talk sense into a woman like Samantha was pointless.

Samantha stood where she was, her fingernails digging into the palms of her fists.

Rachelโ€™s accusation, that there was something wrong with her, made her lose her mind.

What right did Rachel have to marry Tyler when she was just a divorcee?! And Tyler was giving her such a grand wedding, to boot!

She, on the other hand, was doomed to be alone for the rest of her life.
