Chapter 196: Aren't You Tired?

On the plane, Bella looked around. Besides herself and Dominic, there were only three others: Leonard, Tan, and Tan's girlfriend. That made a total of five. The rest were Leonard's bodyguards and pretty maids in uniform. Bella had to admit that Leonard really knew how to have fun.

After a while, Leonard still hadn't given the order to take off. Tan couldn't help but ask, "Is anyone else coming? I finally got some time off; I can't wait to start my vacation."

Leonard lifted his wrist and checked his watch. "No rush. There's someone else coming. Just wait a little longer."

They were all friends, so Bella didn't feel uncomfortable. To be fair, she was well-taken care of on this plane, so it would be ridiculous to feel otherwise. It was just that Dominic had decided to sit with Leonard and Tan, leaving her bored and alone.

Bella approached Tan's girlfriend and introduced herself. "Hello, my name is Bella Freeman. Do you mind if I sit here?"

Tan's girlfriend was quite sociable. She sat down next to Bella, who nodded, holding a glass of juice. "Go ahead. You're Tan's girlfriend, right?"

Celine laughed lightly, covering her mouth. "Well, I am now. I'm not sure if I still will be after this vacation. He changes girlfriends quickly, so I'm prepared for anything. We're all adults just looking for a bit of fun, after all. What about you? I noticed you came with Mr. Miller. Are you his long-term girlfriend, or are you like me?"

Bella glanced at Dominic. He hadn't reacted, but she was sure he'd heard her, since he wasn't far away. After a pause, she replied, "I'm his sister."

Celine covered her mouth. "Oh, I'm so sorry."

Dominic shifted, making Bella glance at him again. When he bent down to pick up his phone, he glanced at her as well. Suddenly, Dominic's phone fell to the floor with a thud. Warning and displeasure flickered in his eyes.

Bella pursed her lips and smiled. He was already forcing her to have a child with him, so he should have the nerve to admit their relationship publicly. If he didn't, she was going to make him uncomfortable whenever she could. He hated it when she called herself his sister, so that's what she was going to do.

About twenty minutes later, the last person arrived. To Bella's surprise and delight, it was Lia. She hadn't expected Leonard to invite Lia, and she was happy because she wouldn't be bored anymore.

Lia tossed her luggage bag in a corner. "I'm exhausted. If it weren't for the traffic, I would've gotten here earlier. You weren't expecting me, were you, Bella? I'm here to keep you company."

Bella hugged Lia happily. With her arrival, the plane finally took off.

When Bella saw the maids on the plane, she said, "You really know how to have fun, Leonard. Aren't you tired from all this indulgence?"

Leonard rubbed his cheek awkwardly. "Hey, I'm a decent person, okay? This is Tan's choice. I just went along with it."

Tan didn't defend himself; he smiled resignedly without saying anything, like he was used to taking the blame. Lia didn't believe Leonard. "Don't bother explaining. You're just hiding the truth. Either way, I like it like this. Look at all the pretty women. I'm so happy."

Leonard was confused. "Don't tell me you like women?"

Lia rolled her eyes at him. "I'm appreciating their beauty. You don't know the difference."

Lia spent the rest of the journey dining with the maids, leaving everyone else alone.
