Chapter 47: Ruined
Ignoring Belle's protests, Dominic rolled over, pinning her beneath him. When she tried to close her legs, he forcefully wedged his knee between them, securing her hands above her head. When he leaned in to claim her lips, she turned her face away, causing his lips to land on her pale neck instead. Belle felt a sharp pain, as if her skin had been scraped. She knew how much courage it had taken to reach this point, and she had no intention of going further. The man above her stiffened for a moment before letting out a cold chuckle. "Whether we're done or not is for you to decide!"
Her petite frame seemed even smaller beneath his strong physique. As she struggled, she swore, her cheeks flushing crimson. Her strength was slowly waning, and she didn't even realize when her clothes had been completely removed. Belle could feel Dominic's hands pressing down. Her body tensed, and her breath hitched in her throat.
Suddenly, Leonard's voice came from the hallway.
"Donnie! Dominic, I can't sleep! Let's go out for a late-night snack!"
"Dominic, what are you doing? I know you're not asleep yet!"
"Dominic, come on! If you don't, I'm coming in!"
Dominic took a deep breath before pulling away from Belle. "Fuck."
Worried that Leonard might actually barge in, Belle hurriedly wrapped a blanket around herself. Did Dominic curse? Was she hearing things? This was the first time she had ever heard those words from him.
Knowing Leonard wouldn't stop until he got what he wanted, Dominic, despite being sexually frustrated and exhausted, still went out with him.
Before heading out, Leonard peered through the crack in the door with a cheeky smile and asked Belle, "You probably don't want to come with us, right? Do you want us to bring you something back?" Belle shook her head vigorously. "No, thanks. You guys go ahead! I have work tomorrow."
As soon as she heard the front door close and everything quieted down, she breathed a sigh of relief and got up to take a shower. She knew she wouldn't be able to sleep with her skin damp and sticky. After all that tossing and turning, she finally fell asleep soundly. The next morning, as sunlight streamed in and woke her, she opened her eyes and silently saw Dominic sleeping peacefully beside her.
For a brief moment, she couldn't bring herself to look away. He was so flawlessly sculpted that even the best plastic surgeons would be in awe. He held her in his arms; it felt completely natural. It made her feel as though this peaceful morning was exactly how things were meant to be.
As she watched him sleep from a close distance, she began to doubt whether her feelings for him were just a superficial attraction to his appearance—something that wasn't truly worthy of his attention.
It seemed like he and Leonard had gotten home late last night, as he showed no signs of waking.
Belle carefully slipped out of his arms and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Leonard, still half asleep, walked out of the master bedroom just as she arrived. "Hang on, let me use the bathroom first." Belle noticed the redness on his carefree face and didn't find it awkward. She simply turned around and headed out the door. "Hurry up."
Leonard abruptly leaned in, narrowing his eyes. "Ah, now I see why Dominic seemed so upset when we went out for that late-night snack last night. Did he ruin your fun? Were you two just going to… you know?"
Note: The final sentence is still a little awkward, but it's significantly improved. The original text contained numerous spelling and grammatical errors, inconsistent character names (Dominic/Dominick), and unclear phrasing. The revised version aims for clarity and readability. The oddly placed advertisement was removed.
