Chapter 100

Lucas turned on his heel and strode out of the building, pulling out his phone to call Desmond.

โ€œCheck the surveillance footage from Walton Corporationโ€™s underground parking lot. Find Auroraโ€™s location.โ€

Hearing the urgency in his bossโ€™ voice, Desmond immediately ended the call and got to work.

Lucas wasnโ€™t idle either.

His lips pressed into a tight line, brows furrowed as he opened his laptop, attempting to track Auroraโ€™s phone signal.

Moments later, Desmond called back.

โ€œBoss, I found it. Miss Walton was taken. The location isโ€ฆโ€

โ€œWestside warehouse,โ€ Lucasโ€™ voice was dangerously low.

โ€œBring the police. Iโ€™m heading there now.โ€

He ended the call without another word.

Desmond fell silent for a moment, sensing the suppressed rage in Lucasโ€™ tone.

Having worked for him for years, Desmond knew him well enoughโ€“whoever had dared to kidnap Aurora was as good as dead.

He silently prayed that the kidnappers had tough lives because Lucas had plenty of ways to deal with them otherwise.

Lucasโ€™ expression darkened further, his entire aura ice-cold as he gripped the steering wheel and sped toward the Westside warehouse.

His car weaved through traffic, running countless red lights.

His large hands clenched the wheel, his heart lodged in his throat, his jaw set in tension.

โ€œAurora, you must be okay.โ€

Westside Warehouse

Aurora struggled against her restraints with all her might.

Linda and Chuck stood off to the side, watching with twisted satisfaction.

Chuck even held up his phone, recording the scene, preparing to send it to Joseph.

At this point, it was clear. Joseph operated under the belief that if he couldnโ€™t have Aurora, then he would destroy her.

What a sick bastard.

Auroraโ€™s hands and feet were tightly bound, and a rough, calloused hand slid across her delicate skin.

She shuddered in revulsion.

โ€œDonโ€™t touch me!โ€ she screamed.

At that moment, she couldnโ€™t help but think of Lucas.

That man was like a god descended from the heavens.

With him, she had found a rare sense of security.

And now, more than anything, she wished he would appear.

โ€œFeisty little thing, arenโ€™t you?โ€

โ€œI love it when they put up a fightโ€“makes it even better!โ€

Chuck barked orders from the side. โ€œHurry up! Youโ€™ve wasted so much time, and her clothes are still intact.โ€

โ€œAre you telling me a few men canโ€™t handle a single woman?โ€

He was practically foaming at the mouth, eager to jump in himself.

Linda clenched her fists tightly.

She had no doubt that if she werenโ€™t standing here, Chuck would have already joined them.

That damn vixen!

Aurora bit her lip hard, her jaw locked in determination. She kicked her legs and pulled at the restraints with all her strength, desperately trying to break free.

It was too humiliating.

Never in her life had she been treated like this.

Her wrists were already raw, streaked with red marks from struggling against the ropes.

One of the thugs hesitated, frowning slightly.

โ€œStop struggling, sweetheart. Let me untie you.โ€

Another thug smacked him upside the head. โ€œAre you stupid? If we untie her, sheโ€™ll run!โ€

The first one mumbled, โ€œCome on, thereโ€™s four of us. Itโ€™s not like she can actually escape. Look, her skinโ€™s already getting scraped up.โ€

That made sense.

After a brief discussion, they agreed to loosen the restraints slightly.

Auroraโ€™s eyes flickeredโ€“perfect.

The moment her hands were freed, she clenched her fist, ready to throw a punch.

But Chuck was faster.

He grabbed her wrist mid-swing, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

โ€œKnew youโ€™d try something,โ€ he sneered. โ€œIโ€™ve been watching you the whole time!โ€
