Hearing what Lucas said, Aurora suddenly realized something.

Lucas guided her into the room. “You really don’t need to worry so much. Trust me, I’ll take care of everything. All you need to do is come with me.”

Aurora gave in to his words.

When the two of them lay down, she was still turning his words over in her mind.

Noticing this, Lucas pulled her firmly into his arms and said with quiet authority, “Get some sleep. Don’t you have to go to the studio tomorrow?

“If you don’t rest well, how will you have the energy to work?”

Aurora didn’t respond, only curled into his embrace, letting herself drift off.

Lucas held her tightly, his eyes full of contentment.

As long as they were together, there was nothing he feared.

The next day, Aurora arrived at the studio.

Today, she had sent Ian out to measure the actual land data for the Southside property.

So, in the studio, it was only her, Megan, and two other employees.

Over the past few days, with Ian guiding them, Hannah and Henry had become fairly familiar with the studio’s basic tasks.

Handling things on their own wasn’t really a problem anymore.

Seeing this, Aurora felt even more relieved.

“You two are basically ready to stand on your own now.”

Hannah replied modestly, “It’s all thanks to Mr. Ian. By following him, we’ve learned so much.”

“Yes, I’ve also been going through the notes he left behind.” Henry raised the notebook in his hand to show Aurora.

The pages were densely filled with Ian’s own handwriting—years of accumulated experience and insight.

Aurora skimmed through it and was surprised to see that Ian had handed everything over without holding anything back.

She had thought most people would keep a few things to themselves, but Ian had truly passed down all he knew.

Henry hadn’t expected it either.

Aurora patted his shoulder earnestly, her tone tinged with respect. “Mr. Ian is really a good man. He’s kept nothing from you at all.”

Henry’s expression was full of gratitude. “Yes, boss, I can see that. Mr. Ian is truly a good man. Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to follow him closely and learn everything I can. I promise I won’t let him down.” He stood straight as he said it, full of resolve.

Megan smoothed things over with a laugh. “Alright, no need to be so serious. Aurora was just making a point. We can all see you’re a very diligent employee.”

Hannah quietly observed all this from the side.

Once again, she felt grateful that she had chosen to stay under Aurora’s leadership.
