Chapter 47

Mark straightened the wine bottle and continued, “How about going downstairs for some hot dancing?”

Isabella was momentarily stunned. To everyone, she seemed a quiet, well-read young lady who always followed the rules. This was Draxenport's busiest and most high-end bar; asking Isabella to dance, with so many people in the main hall, would be daring.

Everyone else cheered, the room's atmosphere instantly heating up. Ivana laughed. Having grown up with Isabella, Ivana believed she knew her well. "There's no way Isabella could dance," she thought. "Going onstage will embarrass her." Mark's suggestion was exactly what Ivana wanted.

Simultaneously, Jayden frowned, thinking, "If Isabella goes onstage, she'll embarrass herself."

Ivana hesitated, looking at everyone before saying, "Maybe we should try something else? Isabella might not be so great at…" She trailed off, but her hesitant expression clearly indicated Isabella's lack of dancing skills. Mark and the others didn't care. Kevin was enthusiastic: "What's the big deal? We need to have fun. Isabella's an outstanding beauty. Even if she dances onstage, no one will be able to take their eyes off her."

Luna almost slapped Ivana. Ivana's innocent act had only excited the men more. Luna put down her wine glass, about to refuse for Isabella, when Isabella gently stopped her with a hand. Luna, seeing Isabella's reassuring look, managed to contain her anger.

Isabella stood, confidently saying, "It's just a dance. A piece of cake." Her calm demeanor prompted cheers of "Way to go, Isabella!" from Mark and the others.

Ivana's excitement grew. 'Does Isabella really think she can grab everyone's attention just by getting onstage?' she thought. 'When did she become so stupid? Soon, I'll have the pleasure of watching her make a fool of herself.' Ivana needed to say something to prevent Isabella from embarrassing herself and deflect any blame.

Stepping forward, Ivana took Isabella's arm, feigning worry. "Isabella, you really shouldn't go. Just accept the drinking penalty. You don't want to embarrass Dad, do you?"

Isabella stopped, leaned in close, and whispered teasingly, "Last time I beat up the bodyguard and let you off the hook, and you forget it, right?"

Fear flickered in Ivana's eyes; she instinctively released Isabella's arm. She would never forget the sight of those badly beaten bodyguards!

Ivana dared not speak further. Isabella headed for the private room's door, followed by everyone else.

4:21 PM Chapter 47

Downstairs, Isabella greeted the manager at the control desk. The music stopped; all eyes were on the stage. As the music restarted, Isabella slowly walked onstage. She wore a shirt and skirt set, clearly unsuitable for the stage. Before the watching crowd, she pulled the shirt's hem from her skirt and unbuttoned a few buttons. Pulling the long white shirt to her waist, she tied it in a bow, revealing her slender waist. Her professional outfit instantly became sexy. The crowd erupted in cheers and whistles.

As the music played, Isabella let down her tied-up hair, casually tossing the hairband offstage. Kevin and Mark cupped their hands around their mouths to amplify their excited shouts. The moment the music started, the sweet, composed Isabella vanished, replaced by a mesmerizing, captivating presence that stole everyone's breath.

Jayden's eyes narrowed; he'd never seen Isabella like this. Ivana quietly scoffed, unimpressed. 'The lead-up is decent,' she thought, 'but the dance will be awkward.'

Under everyone's gaze, Isabella began moving her arms in time with the music. The pace quickened, her alluring dance moves captivating everyone. One look showed she possessed serious skills. Luna shouted, "Isabella, you're amazing!"

The sarcasm vanished from Ivana's eyes, replaced by disbelief. 'How can this be happening?' she thought. 'When did Isabella learn to dance?' It seemed as if she'd been learning and practicing for years.

The music's beat grew faster, Isabella's movements mirroring the quickening tempo. With a smile and raised hands, her waist twisted alluringly; her captivating eyes seemed to flirt, sending shivers down many spines. No one would have believed Night Charm Bar held such a beauty; Isabella outshone the regular dancers. Each move was professional, a visual delight.

The people in the private room were stunned. After a moment, Mark muttered, "I can't believe Isabella is so amazing." He thought she'd been hiding her skills. Some had expected her to embarrass herself, but… she was amazing.

Luna lifted her chin proudly. "As Isabella's best friend, I always knew she was brilliant." Her excited eyes fell on Isabella. Jill and the other girls shouted, "Bella's waist is slender!" Everyone was shouting. Everyone thought, "How can there be such a beautiful woman? Even as a woman, I feel my cheeks blush and my heart race."

Jayden looked at Isabella in surprise, his eyes shimmering with amazement. He'd never seen such an alluring side of her. She seemed far more capable than he'd thought.

Only Ivana stared intently, thinking, 'Why can Isabella dance?' She quickly glanced at Jayden, only to see him staring fixedly at the stage. Panic set in. 'Could it be that Jayden's old feelings for Isabella are being stirred up?' she thought. 'Isabella must be doing this deliberately, pretending to be unable to dance only to suddenly shine and attract Jayden. You bitch, Isabella!'

Ivana glared, her hands clenched into fists, her eyes filled with jealousy and frustration. She vowed to make Isabella suffer.

Meanwhile, a man taking a break outside witnessed the scene, his eyes widening in amazement.
