Chapter 292
Meanwhile, at the Caesar Hotel, outside Presidential Suite 1206, Tara stood uneasily in a white dress, clutching her phone. Several times, she almost called Cameron or Lena for help, but she stopped, remembering Dylan was in Kelvin's hands. He'd warned her not to tell anyone; otherwise, he would kill Dylan.
She was shocked that Kelvin had been so cruel as to kidnap her grandfather from the hospital. Dylan had lived with her since childhood, while her parents worked abroad. He'd even cared for her all day when she had a high fever. He was, essentially, her closest relative. She couldn't risk his life.
Trembling, she looked at the door. She knew what awaited her inside, but she had to enter; otherwise, her grandfather would be killed. She believed Kelvin would carry out his threat.
Taking a deep breath, she knocked.
"Who is it?" Kelvin's voice came from within.
"It's me," Tara whispered, biting her lip.
A burly bodyguard in black opened the door. She shuddered, stepped inside, and the door closed behind her. Seeing the bodyguard stationed there filled her with despair.
"Tara, you're finally here."
Kelvin sat on the couch, relaxed. He smirked upon seeing her.
"Kelvin, I'm here. Where's my grandfather? Release him!" she demanded, her voice cold.
"Haha, don't worry, your grandfather is fine," Kelvin grinned, having no intention of releasing Dylan. He knew as long as Dylan was in his grasp, Tara would obey him. Thinking of this, Kelvin felt a flash of anger. He leered at Tara's body, his gaze lingering on her chest.
Realizing his stare, she instinctively covered her chest, feeling nauseated. She knew his intentions.
Kelvin smiled smoothly. "Tara, since you accepted my invitation, don't pretend to be innocent. Put your hands down. I want to admire your figure." He intended to taunt her before harming her.
"Kelvin, don't push it! I'll call the police!" Tara gritted her teeth, though her threat lacked conviction.
He chuckled. "Call the police? Do you think they'll help you? Tara, don't waste time resisting. If you have the energy, why not undress, crawl to me, and serve me? I might release your grandfather if you please me."
"You're shameless!" Her anger exploded in a torrent of curses, but she knew they were useless.
