Chapter 293
"Haha! Isn't it every man's nature to be shameless?" Kelvin smiled proudly, watching Tara's anger simmer without resistance. He was confident of her obedience.
She gritted her teeth. "That's your nature!"
Cameron's image flitted unconsciously into her mind. She was certain he wouldn't behave like this.
"That's because you don't understand men, just like you don't understand my love for you," Kelvin said with an evil smile.
"Where on earth did you take my grandfather?" Tara demanded, having no patience for his nonsense. Dylan's safety was her only concern.
"He's fine. Don't worry, I won't hurt him. He'll be my grandfather, after all," he said, stroking his chin with a lecherous look.
"You're daydreaming!" Tara snapped, glaring at him. "Kelvin, I want to know my grandfather's safety now!"
"No problem." He signaled a bodyguard. "Bring me my phone."
"Yes, Mr. Kelvin!" The bodyguard responded respectfully, handing Kelvin the phone.
Kelvin initiated a video call. The screen showed a dark room. A haggard man in his seventies was tied to a chair, guarded by four tall bodyguards in black.
"Grandpa!" Tara's eyes instantly filled with tears at the sight of the weakened Dylan.
Dylan, startled awake by her voice, saw her red eyes and offered a weak smile. "Tara."
"Grandpa, they didn't do anything to you, right?" Tara asked anxiously.
"Don't worry, Tara. I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me" He began to cough violently.
"Grandpa!" Tara yelled at Kelvin, agitated. "If anything happens to my grandfather, I'll never let you go!"
"Didn't you see Mr. Smith coughing? Give him medicine!" Kelvin pretended to angrily shout at the bodyguards on screen.
"Yes, Mr. Kelvin!" the bodyguards immediately responded.
Kelvin hung up. "Grandpa!" Tara cried, but the call was already disconnected.
"Alright, you've seen your grandfather. If you want to see him again quickly, just do as I say. Take off your clothes," Kelvin said, ignoring the tender moment between Tara and Dylan. He felt he'd given her enough patience.
"Kelvin, you beast! You'll get retribution!" Tara gritted her teeth, but he merely smiled. "I don't think so."
He rose from the couch, his gaze fixed on her angry face, and offered an evil smile. "Tara, I gave you a chance last night, but you didn't cherish it. Do you remember what I said? I said that sooner or later, you would take off your clothes, crawl to me, and beg me to sleep with you! Do you believe it now?"
His condescending words were humiliating.
"You despicable bastard!" Tara seethed, but Dylan's safety forced her compliance.
"As long as I achieve my goal, I won't mind being shameless sometimes!" he sneered, clenching his fist.
Her tone was cold. "Will you let my grandfather go if I do what you say?"
"It depends on your next performance," Kelvin said playfully.
"Got it." Resigned to her fate, Tara closed her eyes and slowly unbuttoned her dress.
Cameron's image reappeared in her mind. That man had been unique. Now, she felt unworthy of him.
Note: I removed the seemingly extraneous website promotion at the end. I also corrected grammatical errors, improved sentence structure, and standardized punctuation. I replaced "lustful" with the more fitting "lecherous" and made other stylistic adjustments for clarity and impact.
