Tara trembled. She couldn't explain why Cameron's image had suddenly appeared in her mind; perhaps she subconsciously considered him special. "Sorry, Cameron," she whispered to herself. She felt she had betrayed his kindness after his help at the party.

Despairing, she unbuttoned her dress and slipped the straps from her shoulders, revealing her skin.

Kelvin's eyes lit up. He stood, impatient. "You're too slow! Let me help you!" He grabbed her dress.

"Ah!" Tara screamed, instinctively resisting. He tore a shoulder strap. Her face paled, and her body trembled. He sniffed the torn strap, his excitement growing.

Suddenly, a card swiping sound echoed from the door.

"What happened?"

Kelvin's heart pounded; Tara trembled. A bodyguard approached, but a silver needle, flung from the door crack, struck his forehead. He collapsed. The door opened, revealing a familiar figure.

"Why are you here!" Kelvin's voice was sharp with fear.

"Cameron?"

Tara was stunned, clutching her dress. Her eyes were wide with disbelief. "Cameron, is it you?"

"Yes, it's me."

Tara's trembling intensified as she realized it wasn't a hallucination. Tears welled up. "Cameron, it's really you"

She sobbed, relieved. She felt she could finally confide in him.

"It's alright now, Dr. Smith," Cameron murmured, comforting her. He then glared at Kelvin, his eyes filled with murderous intent. "It seems you've forgotten what I said yesterday!"

"You How did you get my room card?" Kelvin stammered. Caesar Hotel was renowned for its customer confidentiality.

Cameron's eyes were cold. "This hotel belongs to me. Is that so surprising?"

"What! Your hotel?" Kelvin's eyes widened in disbelief. He thought it belonged to Lord Blackheart.

Before he could process this, Cameron advanced, sending a chill down Kelvin's spine.

"Don't come closer! Tara's grandfather is still in my hands!" Kelvin yelled. His immediate priority was survival.

Cameron ignored him and continued to approach. Seeing the threat was futile, Kelvin spotted a fruit knife on the table. He lunged for it, intending to take Tara hostage.

But Cameron anticipated his move. With a blur of motion, he intercepted Kelvin, seizing the knife.

Terror flashed across Kelvin's face as Cameron appeared before him. "You can't hurt me! I'm the eldest son of the Zimmers—Ah!"

Before he could finish, Cameron plunged the knife into the table, near Kelvin's hand. A scream filled the room.
