Chapter 37

Madison couldn't care less about Dakota's feelings. She only wanted to explain the situation to Caspian and avoid further trouble. "Lord Caspian, you saw it too! I really didn't lie! I had no idea this man could fight like that!" she desperately explained, trying to distance herself from any accountability.

Caspian shouted angrily, his face contorted with rage, "Shut up! None of you are leaving this place today!"

Seeing Caspian's murderous gaze, Madison trembled with genuine fear. "Lord Caspian, I"

The other girls paled at Caspian's words, but Cameron remained indifferent, looking at Caspian and saying, "Are you dissatisfied with the beating you received earlier?"

Caspian's heart trembled. Before he could respond, Madison screamed, "Shut up, Cameron! Don't drag us down with you!"

Cameron looked at Madison indifferently. "Your life and death are none of my concern. I'm here for Dakota, and I'm taking these friends of yours who have been implicated by you."

"Implicated? This is all your fault!" Madison's face flushed with anger.

Cameron shook his head, no longer interested in speaking to her. He believed everyone present knew who was truly responsible, unless they were fools. He turned to Dakota and said gently, "Let's go."

Dakota's heart stirred as she looked at Cameron.

Caspian roared, "Don't you dare! Let's see who dares to leave this room!" He turned his attention to Dakota, threatening, "You're Miss Jennings, aren't you? If you take one step out of this room, I'll ensure the Jennings family disappears from Yrando forever!"

Caspian, humiliated and with broken hands, was determined to assert his dominance. If he let Cameron and the others leave, how could he continue to show his face in Yrando?

Dakota trembled, frozen with fear of the consequences for her family.

Caspian slowly pushed himself up, smirking at Dakota's fear. "Scared now, beautiful? I appreciate beauty. If you come with me and serve me well, I might spare your life…"

Before he finished, Cameron grabbed an ashtray and smashed it onto Caspian's forehead.

Caspian screamed in pain, falling to the ground, blood pouring from his forehead. "Boss!" Several of Caspian's men rushed to his side, ignoring their own injuries.

Caspian roared, his face bloodied and ferocious, "You're useless idiots! Get out of my sight!" He glared intensely at Cameron, vowing, "I will make you pay with your life!"

"Where's the phone? Call Mr. Dashner immediately. Tell him what's happening and ask for help!"

"Yes, Boss!" A henchman quickly dialed the number.

Caspian smirked maliciously. "Kid, even if you beg for mercy, it won't make a difference!"

Madison stood by the door, blocking Cameron's exit. Cameron's eyes grew colder, but he ignored her, his gaze fixed on Caspian and his gang. He calmly stated, "Relay a message to Motities for me. Tell him to come see me. He needs to explain what happened today."

Changes Made:

  • Corrected grammar and spelling errors (e.g., "Caspian's" instead of "Caspian'").
  • Improved sentence structure for clarity and flow.
  • Replaced informal language (e.g., "loser") with more suitable alternatives.
  • Removed unnecessary repetition.
  • Added punctuation for better readability.
  • Removed the promotional sentence about a website.
  • Ensured consistent tense usage.

The revised passage is more polished and professional.
