Chapter 518

In Long Harbor, Tyler finally got a chance to meet Catlin. The meeting was set for the middle of the night, which felt a bit strange. But when they saw each other, neither of them cared much about the timing. In the end, they were just happy to be together.

However, what Catlin didnโ€™t expect was that seeing Tyler would only make her feel even worse. Life had already been hard enough for her here, and now, seeing Tylerโ€™s injuries and the way he limped in, she felt like she couldnโ€™t breathe.

โ€œWhat happened to your leg?โ€ she asked, worried.

Catlin had been constantly concerned about his arm injury. It was nearly impossible to get medical help for anyone in the Hart family right now. The last thing she wanted was for Tyler to get hurt again.

Oliviaโ€™s actions had pushed Catlin to the brink. She hated her with all her heart, wanting nothing more than to tear her apart. โ€˜I did everything for her, and in the end, sheโ€™s the one who betrayed me,โ€™ she thought.

Tyler looked at Catlin and noticed how much weight sheโ€™d lost. His heart hurt seeing her like this. โ€œItโ€™s nothing serious. What about you? How are you holding up?โ€

Hearing that, Catlin could tell something was wrong. Heโ€™d clearly been through something.

โ€œKick Olivia, that bitch, out of the Hart family. Tell her to get lost,โ€ Catlin snapped maliciously.

Since being locked up here, she had thought nonstop about getting everything back from Oliviaโ€”the jewelry, clothes, bags, shoes, and all the investments sheโ€™d made in her. She didnโ€™t want to leave Olivia with a single thing.

Tyler nodded. โ€œWell, Iโ€™ve kicked her out.โ€

Both of them were still furious just talking about Olivia.

โ€œThatโ€™s good,โ€ Catlin said, satisfied. โ€œMake sure she doesnโ€™t take anything with her. She doesnโ€™t deserve it.โ€

She wanted Olivia gone, and she didnโ€™t want her taking anything with her.

Tyler just quietly listened to Catlin.

โ€œAlso, donโ€™t let her take the car sheโ€™s driving. I bought it. I bought everything for her,โ€ Catlin added.

Thinking about all those years when she gave Olivia everything, only to end up with this betrayal, Catlin hated her even more now.

Tyler nodded again. โ€œDonโ€™t worry. I made sure she didnโ€™t take anything.โ€

โ€˜She wonโ€™t take anything. With her strength right now, what could she possibly carry?โ€™ Tyler thought to himself.

Olivia didnโ€™t even pick up most of the things she threw out.

Catlin felt a little better when hearing that. โ€œGood. Everything should stay with me. Those things belong to Stefi. They should all go to her.โ€

When she mentioned Stephanie, Catlinโ€™s voice grew even more pained.

โ€œThatโ€™s my daughter. What did I do to her for Olivia in these two years? Sheโ€™s my daughter, and I hurt her for some outsider. We even ended up harming each other,โ€ she thought.

Thinking about Stephanieโ€™s attitude toward her lately, Catlin felt a mix of love and hate. The love came from the fact that Stephanie was her daughter, and she regretted everything she had done to hurt her for Olivia. The hate came from the fact that things could never go back to the way they were; Stephanie had become so cold-hearted toward the whole Hart family, and Catlin hated it.

Tylerโ€™s expression shifted slightly when he heard Catlinโ€™s words. His subtle change didnโ€™t go unnoticed by Catlin. โ€œDid you see Stefi? Did you meet her?โ€ she asked, her voice tight.

Tyler went silent, his face growing serious. Seeing him like that, Catlin knew he had definitely seen Stephanie.

The thought of Stephanie made her chest heavy, and her voice softened as she asked, โ€œWhat did she say? Is sheโ€ฆ willing toโ€ฆโ€

Then she paused, trying to gather her thoughts. Then she continued, โ€œWill she help me?โ€

โ€˜Now that Olivia and I are on bad terms, nothing will stand in the way of the love I want to give Stephanie. If she helps me get out of this, Iโ€™ll shower her with all my love from now on,โ€™ she thought.

Catlin looked at Tyler with hope in her eyes, desperate for a reassuring answer about Stephanie.

After all this time, Catlin had come to a conclusion: right now, the whole Hart familyโ€”and even herselfโ€”only needed one word from Stephanie. If she could just speak up in front of Sebastian, every problem would be solved.

But despite her hopeful gaze, Tyler stayed silent.

โ€œSay something,โ€ Catlin urged.

โ€˜Why isnโ€™t he saying anything? Could it be that after everything, Stephanie still wonโ€™t give me a chance?โ€™ she thought, her heart sinking.

Tyler took a deep breath, closed his eyes for a moment, and then said, โ€œYouโ€ฆ you should just forget you have a daughter. Pretend you never had her.โ€

Catlinโ€™s breath grew heavier as she listened.

Tylerโ€™s voice turned cold. โ€œSheโ€™s not part of the Hart family.โ€
