“Wait, if he cares about you so much, it shouldn’t be me asking for a divorce and wasting three months just to make him sign the papers.” She almost said Victoria was useless. “Perhaps, you won’t even become Mrs. Hudson.”

Ellis’s smile froze. When Victoria was Easton’s fiancée, Ellis had indeed fallen in love with him, but this was a secret. She thought nobody knew about it because she had never told anyone, not even Easton. However, Victoria just said it out loud like that.

Victoria gave her a disdainful look, which seemed to say, “Your secret ain’t really a secret.” Ellis’s heart skipped a beat.

“I don’t need to say how much you’re jealous of me, do I?” Victoria had always felt superior to Ellis. This wasn’t because of her background; it was because she knew Ellis liked Easton. Easton was very outstanding. Even after getting engaged to Victoria, he still attracted many women. Victoria had seen many girls fawning over him, so she wasn’t surprised when she learned Ellis liked her fiancé.

No one could control whether someone liked another person, but she could control whether her fiancé belonged to her.
