Chapter 204: Send the Video to Easton
“True” Ellis sat up and called the management. After examining the footage, Maya pointed to the clearest video and said, “This one. Victor’s face is fully visible. Send it to Easton.”
“If I send it, doesn’t it kind of seem like I’m asking him to step in for me?” Es still found it amusing, but she didn’t want any contact with Easton. The last thing she needed was for him to think she was seeking his help and then use it as an excuse to humiliate her.
Honestly, this scumbag and her lover are made for each other; they both love putting people down. She wished she could go back in time, grab her younger self by the shoulders, and shake some sense into her. Loving Easton had been the biggest mistake of her life. It felt like a crime, one that left behind an embarrassing record—just another stain on her personal history.
Resting her chin on her hand, she said, “What if I blur my face and send Victoria’s true colors? I don’t need to be in it.”
The point is for Easton to see…
“And what if Easton has someone remove the blur and watch the original video?” Maya had no doubt Easton had the means to do it, and the curiosity to find out who Victoria had actually hired.
“That would be extra. Then, no blur!”
“Nope.”
“Let me sign up for a new email, and I’ll send it later.”
“Why not send it anonymously? I’ll send it and ask him why he didn’t manage his woman well. How dare she beat my friend! Bla bla…” Maya thought Easton had the means to check who sent it. To avoid all this, she would just help Ellis.
Ellis nodded after thinking. After receiving the video from Ellis on WhatsApp, Maya prepared to send it to Easton. She clicked the search box and found Easton’s name.
Ellis was surprised to see Maya had Easton’s WhatsApp. “You have his number?”
Maya was stunned as well. “Right, why do I have his number?”
Ellis clicked on their chat and noticed they had never chatted on their own; they just purely had each other’s numbers. Ellis was confused. “Why did you guys not block each other, though?”
Maya had his number because Ellis asked her to save it. Sometimes, when Ellis couldn’t contact Easton, she would use Maya’s phone to text him. She looked at the previous chat records between Ellis and Easton on her phone and said, “I have many people’s numbers.”
“Block him after sending him.” Maya sent the video to Easton using Maya’s number.
“Alright,” Maya responded with a nod. The moment the notification popped up confirming the video had been sent, Ellis felt an inexplicable sense of unease. Without thinking twice, she unsent the message.
Seeing the video disappear from the chat, Maya frowned in confusion. “Why did you do that?”
“I don’t feel like sending it anymore.”
“I’ll hold onto it. I can always send it later.” Ellis wasn’t backing down from exposing Victoria; she just suddenly realized she had no way of predicting Easton’s reaction. After thinking it over, she decided to hold off for now.

Chapter 204: Send the Video to Easton
“So you just took a hit for nothing?” Maya’s fingertips brushed over the faint red mark on Ellis’s face. “You might go easy on Victoria, but she sure as hell won’t do the same for you.”
After a moment of hesitation, Ellis closed her eyes. “Send it. Fine, I don’t care if I can’t predict his reaction. I should expose Victoria first.”
Maya sent the video and wrote, “Mr. Hudson, please keep an eye on Victoria. Or else, if this happens again, I’ll send her to jail.”
Then, Maya asked, “Should I block him now or after he replies to me?”
“I’ll go freshen up; let me know if he texts back.” Ellis jumped up from the sofa.
“Alright, keep an eye.” Maya waved her hands, gesturing for Ellis to not worry.
Not long after Ellis went to her room to freshen up, across Stonebridge at the Hudson Group headquarters, Easton wrapped up his work for the day. Before heading home, he took a moment to check his phone. Maya had sent him two messages—one video, followed by texts that made no sense at first glance.
Victoria and Maya? What the hell? His brows furrowed slightly as he tapped on the video.
