Chapter 482
Tiffany thought, If everything I saw was true, does that mean Richard ended up in this accident because he was trying to save me? That fire, and the helicopter that exploded. Are these events going to take place soon?
Tiffany’s body trembled slightly. Every scene she had just seen appeared clearly before her eyes. She could even see fragments from the explosion.
The Treasure Box gradually calmed, and the scene ended with Richard's death. Felix hadn't lied to her about this.
Tiffany turned and asked, “In the arena this morning, you said you knew the time and place of this incident. Tell me.”
Felix wore a faint smile, half-lying on the sofa with his head propped up. He looked evil and frivolous as he asked, “Didn’t anyone tell you that you have to pay a price to get anything from me?”
“I see…” Tiffany hugged the Treasure Box, tapping her fingers lightly. She asked, “But your treasure is in my hands. Are you still qualified to bargain with me?”
“Then do you think you can walk out of here alive without my permission?” Felix snapped his fingers.
More than a dozen well-trained men immediately appeared, each armed with various weapons, including guns.
Tiffany realized this was why Felix was so confident. She glanced around. In a one-on-one fight, these men were no match for her. However, fully armed, escaping alone was impossible.
“Give me the Treasure Box,” Felix demanded, extending his hand.
Tiffany tilted her head and smiled casually. “What if I don’t?”
“Then don’t blame me for being rude!” Felix’s expression darkened. He raised his hand; his subordinates raised their guns, aiming their black muzzles at Tiffany. Then, the guns were all aimed at Felix.
The situation took a sharp turn for the worse instantly.
Felix was stunned. His tone was terrifyingly gloomy as he said, “Are you betraying me?”
His subordinates didn't answer. Tiffany sat lazily on the sofa and snapped her fingers, mimicking Felix. Footsteps sounded outside the door.
This time, June personally escorted Lorenzo, who was bound.
June said, “Miss Kelley, everyone outside has been dealt with.”
“Very good,” Tiffany nodded in satisfaction.
That morning, when she got into Felix’s luxury car, she’d already instructed June to track the car’s recent movements. Therefore, when Felix brought her to the arena, June had already located the villa. She and her subordinates had swiftly subdued all the villa's staff.
Felix had many subordinates, but June had brought more. With the poison powder from the Miracle Healer, everything went exceptionally smoothly.
Chapter 482
Lorenzo struggled violently. After leaving the room, he’d been ambushed. He initially thought Felix’s enemies had come for him, but he hadn't expected Tiffany to be behind it all.
He thought, If I’d known this would happen, I would have shot her when I saw her opening the Treasure Box!
Lorenzo, filled with killing intent, struggled against his bound hands and feet and gagged mouth, to no avail.
Tiffany glanced at him and ordered, “Send him to the Harper family.”
A few days ago, Lorenzo had silenced Alexia and killed Ryan, causing the Harper family immense upheaval. Kenneth was determined to find the murderer. Tiffany would give Lorenzo to Kenneth as a return favor, letting him deal with Lorenzo himself.
“Yes!” June nodded, immediately dispatching two subordinates with Lorenzo.
Felix didn't even frown, seemingly unconcerned about his subordinates' lives.
Tiffany smiled coldly. “You’re remarkably calm.”
“You flatter me,” Felix said with a faint smile. Despite the initial shock, he remained calm amidst the pointed guns.
Tiffany thought, Why is he still so calm?
She threw the Treasure Box to June and approached him.
Felix looked at her steadily, his pitch-black eyes seemingly drawing her in.
Tiffany’s consciousness began to fade.
Felix spoke softly, like he had hypnotized her at the engagement party. “Be good and give me the Treasure Box.”
Only Tiffany could hear his soft voice.
Tiffany fell into a trance and nodded obediently.
“Alright…” she responded mechanically.
He hadn’t expected Tiffany to take advantage of his unpreparedness to preemptively control his villa and subordinates. Her drastic measures had caught him off guard.
But he also felt she was too young, allowing herself to be hypnotized again.
Felix’s lips curled up; he was satisfied with her obedience. However, he heard a muffled laugh.
Felix suddenly raised his head to see Tiffany's smile growing wider, from restrained to unrestrained laughter. Her pretty face was bright, her eyes sparkling—she didn't look hypnotized at all.
“You…” Felix was genuinely stunned.
Tiffany stopped laughing; only sharpness remained in her eyes.
She asked, “Do you think I’ll fall for your trap again? Do you think your hypnosis is omnipotent? Do you think you can still control me now?”
The three consecutive questions stunned Felix. His hypnosis had never failed before.
He thought, How can Tiffany not fall for it? How did I fail to control her?
As Felix was startled, a diamond pendant appeared before him, swaying as a faint voice echoed in his ear, “Shouldn’t you be resting?”
This sentence repeated, slowly occupying his subconscious. The pendant continued to sway, the voice repeating the suggestion that he was tired and should rest. Felix slowly closed his eyes.
Tiffany asked again, “Tell me all your secrets and answer the questions I just asked you. Tell me…”
The surroundings were silent; June and the others dared not even breathe loudly.
