Chapter 483

The hypnosis process could not be disturbed. Fortunately, the villa's remote location ensured a smooth session. Felix gradually relaxed, his eyes slightly closed, his body trembling unconsciously. He was completely immersed in Tiffany's words and his own secrets.

Tiffany's subordinates watched in awe. June's palms sweated; she alone knew this was Tiffany's first hypnotic session, and the subject was the sinister Felix. The thought worried her, but Tiffany's success brought immense relief.

On the sofa, Felix trembled incessantly, sweat beading on his forehead. He remained silent for a long time, seemingly trapped in a nightmare. Tiffany frowned. She regretted revealing his secrets; he had clearly entered a subconscious nightmare, and his awakening was uncertain.

In his dream, Felix returned to thirteen years prior. The Azure Sea Royal Family was prosperous, economically dominant, and its citizens lived happily. Felix, however, was an illegitimate child, hidden from the public, destined for disdain. His mother was beaten to death before him. He often wondered what he had done to deserve such a life.

He knelt in a pool of blood, hearing laughter and firecrackers—it was Christmas Eve. No one cared for his mother's corpse or the freezing child. He thought, "So be it. At least it's over." He closed his eyes, awaiting death. After an unknown time, his body stiffened.

Just as death approached, a small hand patted his face. A clear voice whispered, "Hey, are you alright?" The warmth of the hand and the kindness of the voice were comforting. He couldn't respond. After the little girl called several times, her voice faded. He assumed she had left, smiling bitterly as snowflakes buried him.

But the clear voice returned: "Hurry up and send him to the hospital!" The child's voice held authority; someone immediately responded, carrying Felix and his mother to the hospital.

He didn't want to live. It was too painful.

Felix murmured, "Don't save me," but his voice was too soft. The five-year-old girl patted him, firmly saying, "Don't worry, I'll definitely save you." Missing his first words, Felix remained unconscious, finding it slightly amusing before fainting.

Upon waking, sunlight streamed into the warm room. He saw an elderly, kind woman. Her voice differed from the child's in his memory; he wondered if he'd been mistaken.

He cleared his throat and asked, his voice raspy, "Excuse me, did you save me?"

The woman smiled and shook her head. "No, the person who saved you was not me."

The door opened again, revealing a beautiful five-year-old girl. Chubby-faced and exceptionally likable, she ran to him joyfully. "You're finally awake! I told you, I'll definitely save you!" She patted her chest proudly. Felix laughed, realizing for the first time he knew how to smile. He was stunned.

The little girl blinked, puzzled. "What's wrong?"

Felix said, "I'm fine. Thank you for saving me."

"It's okay. It's a piece of cake." She waved nonchalantly, acting like a little adult.

Felix looked at her intently. "Where where's my mother?"

The little girl said, "The doctor said your mother went to a better place, so don't be sad. When you're better, you bury her yourself."

The answer didn't surprise him, but the news pierced his heart, sparking hatred. He hated his irresponsible, powerful father; he hated everyone!

The girl, seemingly sensing his hatred, blinked and innocently said, "Then become stronger. My grandfather told me most people can only rely on themselves."

Felix was touched. He nodded emphatically. "I will."

He stayed in the hospital, a stark contrast to his previous life. The little girl visited occasionally, staying only a few minutes before being respectfully carried away. This continued for six months.

Later, Felix discovered the girl was the Azure Sea Royal Family's most respected princess—the granddaughter of the man who ordered his mother's murder. His savior and tormentor were from the same family.

When the princess next visited, he wanted revenge—to kill her, to make the Azure Sea King feel the pain of family loss. But even after a month, the fruit knife remained hidden, unused. Later, the royal family fell into chaos, and the princess disappeared.
