Chapter 490

Zoe knew Tiffany was loyal, grateful, and possessed a clear conscience. Zoe believed Tiffany, with her character and personality, wouldn't betray Richard. However, Tiffany never explained herself or revealed her struggles.

Zoe sniffed and said, "On the day of the engagement party, who rushed to the Azure Sea Royal Family to beg for medicine to save you? Why would she go to such lengths?" Zoe continued, "When Tiffany was injured, she couldn't even see, but she saved you, Mr. Hampton. Think about it. If she truly wanted to"

The more Zoe spoke, the more excited she became. She firmly believed in Tiffany and hoped Richard would, too. She didn't want Tiffany to suffer or be wrongly accused.

Zoe said seriously, "Others may not believe me, but Mr. Hampton, you must believe."

She looked up hopefully, expecting to see shock or surprise on Richard's face, but he remained calm, his cold and powerful aura unchanged. He remained composed, avoiding rash judgments.

Zoe's heart skipped a beat. "Mr. Hampton, don't you believe me?" she asked.

Richard's eyes were deep, his voice cold as usual. "Even if you hadn't said it, I've never doubted my fiancée."

He wasn't angry about Tiffany's attack; he was upset she contacted Felix, participated in the match for him, and even went home with him. He'd investigated the arena incident and knew she hadn't been coerced. Her closeness to Felix made him question her engagement party declaration and whether she had ever truly loved him. Richard's face turned cold, veins bulging on his hand. A violent aura filled the office.

Zoe shivered, trembling with fear, but asked in a shaky voice, "Mr. Hampton, then what about the scandal between you and Grelle? Tiffany will be sad if she sees it."

Richard thought, Will she be sad? It would be wonderful if she were! But she's heartless. If this affects her at all, it would prove she cares. But she doesn't.

Richard lowered his eyes, his bitterness resurfacing. Zoe, sensing the oppressive atmosphere, slipped away, followed by Sidney.

Zoe ran from Royal Tower, feeling relieved in the warm sunlight. "Oh my god, I was so scared! I almost didn't make it out!"

Sidney shook his head. "Let's go. I'll take you home."

"Alright," Zoe agreed.

As they turned, they saw Grelle exiting a car, heading toward Royal Bay. Her purpose was obvious.

Zoe was stunned, then upset. Sidney urged, "Don't get angry. Not everyone can enter Royal Tower."

Zoe spun around. "Then how did she enter Royal Bay?! That scandal's spreading like wildfire! Do you think I didn't see it?!"

She pushed Sidney aside and confronted Grelle. "Grelle! No, Miss Sandy. Your net worth is soaring. Have you forgotten how Tiffany cared for your village in Melvor Mountain? She doesn't need repayment, but you should know she's Mr. Hampton's rightful wife! How shameless are you to get close to someone else's fiancé?"

Zoe sneered. "Do you want to be a mistress?"

Grelle's face paled. "Zoe, I didn't mean—"

"You didn't mean to be a mistress? To marry Mr. Hampton?"

"It's not like that! Zoe, believe me, I wouldn't. You and Tiffany have helped me. I wouldn't do that to you!" Grelle pleaded, distressed.

Zoe remained cold. "Then be more self-aware. If you interfere with Tiffany and Mr. Hampton, I'll tear you apart!"

Zoe's cold fury stunned Grelle. "Why are you still here? This isn't a place for you!"

Grelle left, aggrieved. Sidney, amused, put a hand on Zoe's shoulder. "You're powerful. She didn't dare look at you."

Zoe turned cold. "Are you saying I'm cruel and Grelle innocent? Are you protecting her?"

Sidney was dumbfounded. "When did I say that?"

"That's what you implied! Angry women aren't worth it! Go away! I don't need a ride!"

Zoe walked away. Sidney, stunned, thought, Do girls turn hostile that quickly? He chased after her. "Hey, wait! When did I defend Grelle?"

Zoe said, "You call her Grelle. How intimate!"

Sidney felt wronged. "No, Cynthia isn't welcome at Royal Tower or Royal Bay! The scandal isn't true! It's nonsense!"

Zoe asked, "Then why is Mr. Hampton indifferent? Why didn't he do anything about it?"

Chapter 490 (Continued)

"He wanted to see if Tiffany would be jealous. After ignoring him for a while, she returned his gifts. He was furious."

"So nothing happened between Grelle and Mr. Hampton?"

"Isn't that obvious? Mr. Hampton's a clean freak. Just hearing those words makes him disgusted. He has zero tolerance for such things. Any woman would know that."

Zoe stopped, turned, and smiled at Sidney. "Tell Tiffany this. Thank you for telling me everything!"
