Chapter 491

Sidney was stumped, then amused. He never expected someone so careless and heartless to set him up so casually. He realized he'd miscalculated. He wanted to chase after her, but Zoe waved without turning around, hailed a taxi, and departed elegantly.

He stood there a moment, shook his head, and returned to Royal Tower.

Zoe couldn't wait to tell Tiffany. Still in the taxi, she called, but the call failed. She then instructed the driver to go to Cedar Ridge Villa.

The servant who answered shook her head. "Miss Kelley's at school. School hasn't ended, has it? What's wrong?"

"No, sorry to bother you," Zoe replied, and left. She didn't dare reveal Tiffany's suspension.

On the way back, she sensed someone following her. Turning, she saw only a few pedestrians. "An illusion?" she wondered. Frowning, she quickened her pace.

Grelle, hidden in a nearby alley, watched. Her usually innocent expression was now gloomy. She'd overheard Sidney's words at Royal Tower. Initially, she'd felt humiliated by Zoe's ridicule, but now she realized she was disliked. It saddened her.

Grelle clenched her fists. "While Zoe's words were unpleasant, she's right about one thing. I don't want to be Mr. Hampton's mistress. I was drawn to him the moment I saw him! Why can't I fight for a chance with him? Especially now, with the rift between Richard and Tiffany—it's a golden opportunity!"

Grelle formulated a plan, then called someone with a determined smile. "Hey, you said you'd do me a favor. Still true? Good. I need you to… "

Tiffany's phone was dead. After school, she planned to go to Luna Villa, but remembered Lorenzo's recent escape. His vengeful nature worried her. She changed course for the Harper family home, knowing Kenneth was still mourning Ryan and wouldn't be at school.

Tiffany entered the Harper family manor unhindered. A servant greeted her. "Mr. Harper is in the back garden. Shall I guide you?"

"No, I'll go myself," Tiffany replied, familiar with the grounds.

In the garden, Kenneth sat on the grass, looking thinner. Tiffany sat beside him.

"Beautiful day," she said.

"Why are you here? Aren't you at school?" Kenneth asked, surprised.

Tiffany laughed. "I beat someone up, so I'm suspended."

Kenneth choked, then smiled. "Typical you."

Tiffany raised her eyebrows, gazing at the flowers. Despite late autumn, many bloomed, their petals glistening with recent watering.

Felicia Harper loved flowers. After Alexia's kidnapping (which Felicia wrongly blamed on Tiffany), Melody had instigated Felicia to send a forklift to Cedar Ridge Villa, even damaging the gate. Richard retaliated with bulldozers, leveling the garden. Felicia replanted it at great expense.

The Harper and Kelley families had been estranged, yet within a year, Tiffany freely visited the Harper home.

Tiffany sighed, thinking of Richard. "Am I obsessed? I can't stop thinking about him…" She shook her head, dismissing the thought.

"Kenneth, I need to tell you something," she said seriously, recounting yesterday's arena events, including the Treasure Box. Unlike most people, she had no intention of hiding it.

Kenneth covered her mouth. "Quiet! Don't say that so casually!" He looked around, relieved to see no one else. After Ryan's death, he was afraid. The Treasure Box's value would attract powerful organizations, and any mishap could be fatal.

Tiffany slapped his hand away. "I'm not finished. There's Lorenzo. I caught him yesterday, but he escaped while being transported here. Be careful."

"Yes," Kenneth said, killing intent flashing in his eyes. His father's attack by Lorenzo demanded revenge.

His father had suffered a vicious attack from Lorenzo. He would personally capture and kill him.

Tiffany frowned. "Another question: Grandfather said you sent people to investigate the Treasure Box, revealing its location to Felix, leading to the disaster. But without proof, Felix wouldn't have sent over a hundred people. He must have investigated beforehand, or… bought off our servants. Think carefully. Did anything unusual happen? Any strangers? Investigate the servants."

Kenneth's expression changed. He thought of Melody Princeton.
