Chapter 391

55 vouchers, Lennon thought. With all that wild action going on upstairs, if this video gets out, itโ€™ll blow up the internet! Tuff is totally screwed?

Lennon sighed inwardly and handed all the cameras to Joyce. โ€œThereโ€™s still a ton moreโ€ฆโ€

Joyceโ€™s vision went black, and she fainted on the spot.

Lennon hesitated, thinking, โ€˜Should I call 911?โ€™

He thought, โ€˜Forget it, better find Tuff first. He made this mess, he can deal with it!โ€™

But Lennon knew this was just one guy covering for another, and if Joanna found out, heโ€™d definitely get chewed out.

โ€œWhat?โ€ Tuff blurted out, totally caught off guard as he was buried in work.

But then, he could barely contain his glee. โ€˜Joyce got busted with her side piece? And she actually fainted? No way Iโ€™m letting this golden opportunity slip by!โ€™ he thought.

โ€œLennon, the pregnant ladyโ€™s health comes first. Call 911 again. Iโ€™ll be there in a sec,โ€ Tuff said.

โ€œTuff, you care so much about her? What about the Lady, huh? What would Kayla think?โ€ Dan couldnโ€™t help but call him out.

Lately, with all the gossip about Kayla, even Lennon had started calling her โ€œthe Lady.โ€

โ€œDonโ€™t worry. She will thank you for this,โ€ Tuff burst out laughing.

Lennon frowned. โ€œSeriously, how can you even laugh right now?โ€

Lennon, being the compassionate guy he was, shook Joyce gently, but she didnโ€™t wake up.

So, he called 911.

Soon, the sound of sirens got closer, and Joyce slowly opened her eyes.

When she saw Lennon still there, Joyce asked in a shaky voice, โ€œWhy are you still hanging around?โ€

โ€œYou passed out,โ€ Lennon replied.

Joyce shook her head and pushed herself up from the bed. โ€œIโ€™m fine, you can leave.โ€

โ€œYou donโ€™t look so great. Just hang on, the ambulance is here,โ€ Lennon said.

โ€œWhat?โ€ Joyce blurted out, her legs suddenly giving way as she dropped onto the bed. โ€œYouโ€ฆ You actually called 911?โ€

โ€œNo need to thank me, I just like doing good deeds,โ€ Lennon replied with a shrug.

โ€œWho told you to do that?!โ€ Joyce practically screamed.

Joyce let out a sharp scream.

Joyce thought, โ€˜If the paramedics show up, this whole mess is just going to blow up even more!โ€™

Suddenly, a new idea popped into Joyceโ€™s head.

Kayla had told her to come take down the cameras. She mustโ€™ve known Joyce would faint.

โ€˜Fine, Iโ€™ll just go with the flow and pretend to have a miscarriage!โ€™ Joyce thought.

If Tuff found out she was seeing another man, heโ€™d be done with her for goodโ€“even if she was pregnant with his child.

And knowing how the Prescott family was, theyโ€™d be all over her for another paternity test. Itโ€™d be like being stripped naked in front of everyone. By then, Joyce would have zero privacy left.

She might as well lose the baby now, while Maggie still believed that paternity report.

That way, Tuff would carry the guilt for life, and Maggie would never forgive Kayla.

โ€œIs 911 here yet?โ€ Joyce asked.

To her surprise, the first one to walk in was Tuff.

Joyce jumped. โ€œWhatโ€ฆ What are you doing here?โ€

โ€œJust here to watch the show!โ€ Tuff said, grinning from ear to ear.

Joyce suddenly had a bad feeling.

โ€œWait, does he know too?โ€™ Joyce thought.

โ€˜Damn it, Kayla! She ratted me out already?โ€™ Joyce cursed inwardly.

โ€œTuff, you can still laugh at a time like this?โ€ Lennon shot Tuff a look of disbelief as he turned around, the usual brightness in his eyes now clouded with all sorts of complicated emotions.

Just from that one look, Tuff realized Lennon wasnโ€™t just some cheerful, simple kid. There was a lot more going on with him than heโ€™d thought. Lennon was scheming.

โ€œOf course I can,โ€ Tuff said, strutting around with exaggerated glee.

โ€˜Man, luck is really on my side today!โ€™ he thought.

โ€œThat whole mess with Joyce that I could never shake offโ€“Lennon just blew it wide open,โ€™ he thought.

โ€˜With the video footage, everyone can see exactly who the cheater is!โ€™ Tuff thought.

Joyce watched Tuff, so furious that she almost fainted again.

โ€œDamn, this place might be tiny, but that bed is massive! Seriously, itโ€™s gotta be like ten feet wide, right?โ€ Tuff grinned, glancing around.

Joyce closed her eyes and pretended to faint again.

She thought, โ€˜Whatever. As long as the kid Iโ€™m carrying is Tuffโ€™s, who I sleep with doesnโ€™t matter.โ€™

Soon, the paramedics arrived and carried Joyce away.

Tuff gave the Lamberts a call. โ€œMr. and Mrs. Lambert, hey, itโ€™s Tuff. Joyce just faintedโ€ฆโ€

Next, he dialed Kayla. โ€œHoney, you gotta come see this drama unfold.โ€

Half an hour later, Joyceโ€™s parents and Maggie all arrived at the hospital.

Joyce slowly opened her eyes, looking dazed and weak.

โ€œDad, Momโ€ฆโ€ Joyce whimpered, her voice trembling with grievance as tears streamed down her face.

The Lamberts rushed to her side, their hearts aching as they tried to comfort their daughter.

โ€œDonโ€™t worry, youโ€™re in the hospital now. Youโ€™re safe,โ€ they reassured her.

Joyce, donโ€™t be scaredโ€ฆโ€ her parents murmured comfortingly.

Maggie said nothing, her face dark and stormy.

Sheโ€™d just watched the video of Joyce in bed with some strangerโ€“and damn, that bed was massive.

Unbelievable! Joyce has really lost it this time, Maggie fumed.

Here she was, pregnant with Tuffโ€™s baby, and still messing around with every guy in sight.

She wasnโ€™t even worried about hurting the baby.

And the way she was bawling in that guyโ€™s arms, acting all pitiful, was seriously messed up.

Maggie was actually relieved she hadnโ€™t split up Tuff and Kayla.

If she had, Tuff wouldโ€™ve been played for a fool nonstop.

โ€œMaggieโ€ฆโ€ Joyce sobbed, her voice thick with tears.

โ€œDonโ€™t you dare call me that. Weโ€™re done,โ€ Maggie spat, jaw clenched as she cut Joyce off for good.

Joyceโ€™s heart sank.

โ€˜Crap, Maggie saw the video,โ€™ Joyce thought.

โ€œMrs. Prescott, how can you say that? Joyce is still carrying Tuffโ€™s baby!โ€ Joyceโ€™s mother, Brylee, sobbed, sniffling and wiping her tears as she confronted Maggie.

Maggieโ€™s face was dark as thunder.

โ€˜God, this is such a headache! Why couldnโ€™t that kid belong to someone else?โ€™ Maggie grumbled inwardly.

โ€œMaggie, how did I end up like this? Itโ€™s all Tuffโ€™s fault!โ€ Joyce sobbed her heart out, tears streaming down her face.

Maggieโ€™s jaw clenched in anger. โ€œOh, so he told you to go sleep with other men, did he?โ€

โ€œHe didnโ€™t want me, and I was so heartbrokenโ€ฆโ€ Joyce cried. โ€œI was so upset, and then someone comforted me, and thenโ€ฆ well, it just happenedโ€ฆโ€

โ€œSeriously, you always have an excuse for your own mess,โ€ Tuff scoffed, shaking his head. โ€œWhy would I want you? Iโ€™m already married. Youโ€™re the one who shamelessly kept clinging to me. What, am I the bad guy for not wanting you?โ€

Joyce sobbed, โ€œYou used me and then tossed me aside! You broke my heart!โ€

Chapter 391

โ€œSo thatโ€™s your thing, huh? Every time youโ€™re upset, you just jump into bed with some guy? Well, youโ€™re really heartbroken now. How many guys do you need to comfort you this time? Donโ€™t be shy, just name a number. Iโ€™ll set you up with a whole lineup if thatโ€™s what you want,โ€ Tuff waved his phone around like he was about to start dialing.

Joyceโ€™s father, Xzavier, shot up, shouting, โ€œTuff! Donโ€™t push it!โ€

โ€œHey, Mr. Lambert, Iโ€™m just doing what comforts her,โ€ Tuff said with a cold smirk. โ€œYou heard it yourself. She only feels better after some guy screws her to tears.โ€

Xzavier clutched his chest, looking like he might have a heart attack right then and there.

Maggie quickly pulled Tuff back. โ€œThatโ€™s enough, just drop it!โ€

โ€œAh, my stomach, it hurtsโ€ฆ it hurts!โ€ Joyce groaned, pinching her own thigh under the covers. โ€œMom, hurry, get the doctor!โ€

Brylee screamed, โ€œDoctor!!โ€

โ€œSheโ€™s having a miscarriage!โ€ someone shouted.

โ€œMy babyโ€ฆโ€ Joyce wailed.

In an instant, the whole room descended into chaos. Joyceโ€™s cries tore through the ward, her voice raw with desperation.

Whatever hope Maggie had left for a grandchild was gone for good.

She looked at Tuff and said coldly, โ€œLet the miscarriage happen. You and Kayla can take your time and have your own kids later.โ€

โ€œMom, seriously? You still believe her? That kidโ€™s not mine at all,โ€ Tuff said, totally exasperated.

He thought, โ€˜Momโ€™s totally brainwashed by Joyce. Unbelievable.โ€™

Maggie frowned, thinking hard, then realization dawned. โ€œIs it that guy from the video?โ€

โ€œNo idea. But itโ€™s definitely not mine.โ€ Tuff shrugged, not giving a damn whose kid it was.

He thought, โ€˜Not my problem at all.โ€™

โ€œButโ€ฆ I had a paternity test doneโ€ฆโ€ Maggie muttered, pulling up the report on her phone and handing it to Tuff. โ€œSee for yourself.โ€
