Chapter 151: Hard to Please

During the last twenty minutes of class, students engaged in free discussion. As class ended, some students glanced around excitedly. "Wow! A handsome man is standing outside. Is his girlfriend in class?"

"He's carrying a beautiful bouquet! Is he here to confess? I hope he succeeds!"

"I wish I were his girlfriend! I wonder what his name is. Should I ask for his number?"

The foreign students were more openly expressive about their emotions.

Overhearing them, Maggie also looked towards the door. She was startled to see Nathael standing there with a large bouquet.

Has he lost his mind? she thought. Should I accept his flowers or not? He'll be sad if I refuse, but everyone will be staring if I take them.

Maggie couldn't concentrate during the final minutes of the discussion. She planned to leave last to avoid attention.

"Maggie, you're not leaving yet?" someone asked.

"I'll leave later. I'm figuring something out," Maggie replied with a smile.

After almost everyone left, Maggie sighed in relief, gathered her things, and exited the classroom. Outside, she met Nathael's gaze.

He was about to approach her when a blond man interrupted.

"Hey, I'm Louis. I love your art. Could I take you out? You're exactly my type. Your designs are amazing!"

"I love your work too! I'm a designer, and I'd love to exchange ideas. We could visit a museum, art gallery, or just grab coffee." The handsome man, with his curly blond hair and sharp features, was confident yet slightly bashful—awkwardly cute, Maggie thought.

Maggie was stunned by the unexpected confession, especially with Nathael present. It felt like it made her look easily available.

Remaining silent, she glanced at Nathael, who stood nearby with a cold expression. Amusement flickered across Maggie's face, which she quickly suppressed. She looked away and said softly, "I'm sorry, Louis, I already have a boyfriend."

Louis looked regretful, his gaze lingering on Maggie with affection. He began, "Well, we could be friends…"

Nathael cut him off, stepping beside Maggie and taking her hand firmly. He looked at Louis sternly. "Do you need something?" Maggie tried to pull away, but failed. She didn't want to embarrass him, despite her annoyance.

Louis, intimidated by Nathael's unfriendly demeanor, quickly apologized and left.

Once he was gone, Maggie coldly pulled away her hand. She didn't want to speak to Nathael.

Nathael gently held her wrist. "Are you still upset with me?"

Maggie looked at him silently. She'd never seen this side of him—disoriented and frustrated, unlike his usual confident demeanor.

Maggie avoided his gaze, still wanting to ignore him. Nathael offered her the bouquet. Instinctively, she took it. "What's this for?" she asked coldly. Is he trying to appease me with flowers?

Nathael chuckled. "To make you happy."

Maggie pouted, her attention drawn to the exquisite bouquet. The variety of flowers and their arrangement were beautiful.

Nathael led her back into the classroom. Before Maggie could react, he placed her on a desk. Startled, she almost dropped the bouquet. Nathael locked the door, and Maggie's heart pounded.

"What…what are you doing? We're in a classroom!" she exclaimed. "This is a place for education!"

Nathael smirked, leaning closer. "I want to make you angry."

Maggie's eyes widened in disbelief. Is he insane? She wanted to leave, but Nathael's hands blocked her.

He looked at her amusedly, unable to bear her anger.

"I'm warning you, I can be quite scary when I'm angry! I'll go berserk if I lose my temper, Mr. Harris, you shouldn't provoke me!" Maggie glared at him. I'm annoyed! Why is he acting like this?

"Is that so? How scary can you be?" Nathael raised an eyebrow. He found a furious Maggie cute; it was better than her ignoring him.

Maggie, knowing she couldn't win a physical struggle, set down the flowers, jumped off the desk, and said coldly, "Move aside, I'm leaving."

Nathael leaned against the desk, blocking her. As Maggie jumped down, she had to lean back slightly to avoid touching him.

"Don't even think about it," Nathael said, showing no intention of letting her go.
