“This chandelier probably costs hundreds!”

“I think it’s more than that. I think it probably costs several thousand!”

As soon as they stepped into the house, the old couple was again stunned by its sheer luxury.

Diane smiled and took Selene upstairs, followed by Severin.

“The living area upstairs is just as spacious as the one downstairs. There are rooms on either side of the corridor, too! This place has a lot of rooms,” Severin pointed out. Diane added, “It’s good that there are more rooms. Now you can have your own room instead of sleeping on the floor!”

Unexpectedly, Selene looked up and glared suspiciously. “Shouldn’t you be sleeping with Dad?”

Diane’s mind went blank. She looked at Severin, squatted down, and said to her daughter, “Who told you that moms and dads must sleep together?”

Selene replied, “Will I get a little brother if you don’t sleep together?”

Severin immediately smiled. “Don’t worry, Selene. Mom’s just teasing you. We’ll sleep together occasionally!”

“Oh!” Selene chuckled, seemingly understanding.

Diane stood up and rolled her eyes at Severin. “Let’s get back to choosing our rooms!”

Soon, everyone had chosen their rooms; all three were situated next to each other. This way, Severin thought, I can take care of them.

Meanwhile, Blade had sought out Draco Hall’s Supreme Commander. “My brother, it has shown itself! It has appeared!”

Larry Dune, sipping tea, finally set his cup down upon seeing Blade’s flustered look. “Look at yourself! What’s gotten into you? You’re the second-in-command, for goodness’ sake! What’s gotten you so nervous?”

Blade said, “Supreme Commander, the ring you mentioned… it’s here. The Dracodeus Ring has surfaced!”

“D-D-Dracodeus… the D-D-Dracodeus Ring!”

Surprise registered on Larry’s face, and he stood up. Frowning, he asked, “Are you sure you didn’t mistake something else for it? Did the Dracodeus Ring really appear in our city? If that’s true, wouldn’t that mean the Dracodeus Temple’s Supreme Leader has arrived?”

“Yes, it is the Dracodeus Ring! You showed us that ring before, and I took a closer look today. This is definitely the Dracodeus Ring!” Blade insisted. “What kind of person is our supreme leader?” Larry pondered, asking further,

“He’s an ordinary but handsome young man in his twenties…” Blade recalled, “Perhaps I should tell you everything that happened today in more detail!”

After a while, Larry said, “If Henry showed him such high regard, then he must be important. Do you know where he’s staying? We should send someone to meet him!” He added excitedly, “Our supreme leader has arrived! Do you know what this means, Blade?”

“What… does it mean?” Blade looked puzzled.

“You’re all brawn and no brains. It means we won’t need to fear those two opponents anymore. We might even become the true rulers of Brookbourn’s underground forces!” Larry said.
