Emmanuel, watching from behind the couple, burst into laughter. His assumption had been correct: Julian was aggressively pursuing his sister.

Roselynn, however, didn't accept Julian's flowers. Overhearing a conversation outside her shop, she became concerned about how to reject him.

"Look, there's a fool pursuing that witch!" "Doesn't he realize how wicked she is?" "Does he want to emasculate himself?" "Isn't he aware of her malicious nature? A knife hides behind her alluring facade!"

Roselynn, unwilling to explain, chased after Julian. "Did you hear that? Do your research before pursuing a woman! I'm a wicked witch! Stay away!"

Julian was surprised by her assertiveness, but not deterred. Roselynn's prior warning had prepared him.

"I trust my judgment. I don't believe you're malicious!" He gazed into her eyes. "Give me a chance to get to know you. Your past is what captivates me!"

"Hmph!" Roselynn sneered. "I'm thirty. Your flowery words won't work. You're probably just attracted to my figure, right? You want to sleep with me. Am I wrong?"

Emmanuel was shocked. Roselynn certainly had a sharp tongue. Julian, too, was taken aback. Her words were passionate, and she didn't pretend to be demure.

"I do like you," Julian declared confidently. "My ultimate goal is to sleep with you, but only after we're married. I'm not a playboy!"

Roselynn was speechless, hesitating whether to chase him away when Emmanuel received a phone call.

"Okay, I got it!" he said, then approached the couple. "Roselynn, I tried to set you up on a blind date. The man said he'd rather the world end than go out with you!"

Julian was startled. The statement sounded familiar. He didn't know Ashton had slightly altered the message to Emmanuel. Overhearing this, Julian assumed it was the same man from the previous night. That man has no taste! he thought. He could date this lovely woman, but he refuses!

"Did you hear that?" Roselynn mocked. "I'm a terrible woman. Don't bother me! I don't like you!"

"That man's not worth it!" Julian exclaimed. "You should meet him. I'll humiliate him! I'll even beat him up for you!"

Roselynn wanted to roll her eyes. She didn't understand how she attracted such a…lapdog.

Emmanuel, believing Julian genuinely admired his sister, created an opportunity. "Are you serious?"

"Absolutely!" Julian responded.

"Alright. Accompany my sister on the date. And beat that man up for me!" Emmanuel admitted he was angry at Ashton's account. He needed to teach Julian a lesson.

"I'll help you pursue my sister if my satisfaction is met!"

"Deal! Future brother-in-law!" Julian cleverly seized the moment.

"Emmanuel, are you crazy?!" Roselynn exclaimed, surprised by her brother's easy agreement.

"It's a promise!" Emmanuel ignored her, smiling mysteriously. "You can keep my sister company. I'll make that bastard agree to meet."

"Haha, alright!" Julian was ecstatic. He'd never fought for a woman before, but he had plenty of passion to compensate.
