Chapter 113
Dustin knew a secret existed in the Wyatt family villa's backyard. Lucas had told him before he died, revealing a hidden room containing a great secret. Lucas had forbidden Dustin from entering without his permission, granting access only three years after his death. Dustin, always respecting Lucas's wishes, had stayed away. But the three years had passed.
Outside the secret room, the Wyatt sisters sneered. The room was dangerous; they dared not enter.
"Dustin will likely die from the traps," Clara said coldly. "Even if he survives by luck, we gain. We'll discover what Dad left behind! Perhaps the treasure is inside!"
"Killing two birds with one stone! Clara, you're brilliant!" Elisa exclaimed, smiling and praising her sister.
Delia and Elisa watched Dustin enter, their faces hardening. They craved his death more than the treasure.
Dustin cautiously entered. Lucas's traps were deadly, demanding extreme care. Whoosh! Numerous arrows shot forth, leaving little room to escape.
Dustin remained calm, deflecting the arrows with a slicing motion. His strength allowed him to easily catch bullets; these arrows posed no threat.
He navigated a barrage of weapons, spinning to create a whirlwind and easily escaping. He then faced a fire trap, a rolling stone trap, and others. Any martial artist below sovereign grade would have perished; even sovereign-grade fighters would have risked death. But Dustin overcame them all.
He reached the deepest part of the room, where a stone pedestal held several objects. There, he saw the Wyatt family's legendary treasure: a brilliantly shining signet ring set with an emerald.
"This commands the eight ancient martial families and holds the secret to a greater treasure," Dustin observed, his expression unchanged. He picked it up, glanced at it, and returned it to its place.

Chapter 113 (Continued)
"So, this is what I've risked my life protecting for years" Dustin chuckled.
Many had fought fearlessly for the Wyatt family treasure, even elite warriors at great personal risk. Yet, even Dustin felt weary of his years of protection. He had no intention of taking the ring.
Beside it lay a letter. The front read: "[For my son, Dustin.]" This was Lucas's message.
The letter was locked within the pedestal; a hand-shaped hole was beside it. Dustin inserted his hand; it fit perfectly, releasing the letter.
"If my adoptive father wanted me to take the ring, I will. If not, I won't even look at it, no matter how amazing," Dustin mumbled, opening the letter.
The first sentence read: "[Dustin, I've been dead for three years now.]" Lucas knew Dustin would never disobey him.
The second sentence surprised him: "[By now, you must have left the Wyatt family and severed ties with my daughters.]" Had Lucas predicted this? He must have known his daughters' character.
The letter continued: "[I've always upheld my principles. But I've failed in three aspects: my marriage, my children, and my best friend.]
[Dustin, the Wyatt family treasure is, in fact, the Fox family treasure.]"
Dustin froze. Lucas's words stunned him. He composed himself and continued reading:
"[The emerald signet ring has been passed down through generations of the Fox family, coveted by many. The Fox family was once powerful; no one dared take the ring. But by my generation, they had weakened, though still one of the world's strongest families.
[Twenty-five years ago, someone framed the Fox family. Seventy-six forces attacked, killing over a hundred family members overnight. When I arrived, no one remained. I followed your father's trail and found you and the signet ring in a hidden tunnel. You were only three months old]"
