Chapter 1079

Just as Debra and Marion were locked in a tender gaze, Erica’s voice suddenly echoed from the doorway. She rushed inside and admired Debra’s wedding dress. “I’ve never seen such a gorgeous wedding dress in my life. It’s making me want to get married too.” Halfway through her words, she suddenly realized Randy was standing behind her. She cringed and corrected herself. “I mean, I want to wear a wedding dress, not get married.”

Randy imagined Erica in a wedding dress and blushed. “Erica, what brings you here?” Debra asked.

“Me? Randy told me Caleb asked me to come,” Erica replied, glancing around. “But I don’t see him anywhere.”

Debra explained, “He was here but left a moment ago.”

“Left? Then why did he ask me to come?”

“Probably to try on the bridesmaid dress.”

Debra winked at the attendant, who immediately stepped forward. “That’s right, Miss Mathis. Mr. Houston Sr. wanted you to try on your bridesmaid dress. And Mr. Osborne, your groomsman suit is ready too. Everything’s upstairs.”

“I’ve never been a bridesmaid before. Are there any requirements? Is there an age limit?” Erica asked nervously.

“As long as you’re unmarried, you can be a bridesmaid,” Debra reassured her, glancing at Randy. “Isn’t that right, Randy?”

“Yeah, absolutely,” Randy stammered, uneasily. He wanted to marry Erica, but he hadn’t figured out how to propose yet.

“Alright, then. I’ll go try on the dress,” Erica said, lifting her gown slightly as she headed to the elevator in her stilettos.

The attendant turned to Randy. “This way, Mr. Osborne.”

Randy followed her, but his attention remained on Erica. He was worried she might slip and sprain her ankles in those heels.

Debra sighed, “I told Randy to do something. Why is he still dragging his feet?”

Marion chuckled, “He might have gotten a plan.”

Curious, she asked, “What plan?”

Marion tapped her forehead. “Use that clever little brain of yours. What’s the perfect occasion coming up for a proposal?”

Debra was surprised. She had assumed Randy would try dating Erica, but he was aiming straight for marriage. Suddenly, a lightbulb flickered on above her head. “Ah, I see.”

Before she could fully process the idea, someone wheeled in a portable TV. A wedding teaser then played on the screen. A massive castle surrounded by vibrant flowers appeared—extravagant and foreign.

“A trailer?” Debra was stunned. It felt like they were announcing their wedding to the whole world. “Wait a minute. What is this place?” she asked, confused.

Just then, a secretary walked in, dressed impeccably. “Sir and Madam, the plane will depart in five hours. Please be ready to leave in three.”

“Plane? The wedding isn’t held in Seamar City?” Debra exclaimed.
