Chapter 434

Judy Dixon was surprised when the woman she expected to react angrily remained silent, merely looking at her calmly. The man, the object of Judy's interest, spoke first: "Scram!"

Judy's eyes widened in disbelief. This was the first time anyone had ever spoken to her like that. Her face flushed with embarrassment as Jason pulled Grace into the elevator.

Judy wanted to follow, but Jason's icy stare froze her in place. She couldn't move until the elevator doors closed.

Then, Judy's friend, Jillian Waters, spoke. "That man has such poor taste! Does he even know how to speak properly?"

Judy gritted her teeth in anger. She'd never been treated so poorly; she'd always been cherished. She watched the elevator descend to the first floor, then quickly pulled Jillian towards another elevator. They rushed out to see the pair heading towards the parking garage.

"I'll drive," Judy said. "You keep an eye on them."

"Okay," Jillian replied. While they were friends, the Yan family (Judy's family) was far more powerful. Jillian was, in reality, Judy's subordinate.

Judy hurried to her car and followed. She intended to track them home and learn their identities. She planned to take the man from the woman and make him regret his words.

As she drove, Jillian called. Jillian quickly got into Judy's car and said, "It's the Bentley ahead. They got in that car."

Judy stared at the nearby Bentley, stopped at a traffic light. "They got in that car?"

"Yes," Jillian insisted, almost ready to swear on it. "Both of them."

Judy's expression fell. She'd seen many luxury cars, but this was a limited-edition Bentley worth millions—a car that money couldn't always buy.

This couple owns this car? No, it probably belongs to the man. That woman doesn't look like she could afford it.

Judy continued to follow. She was determined to find out the man's identity.

Meanwhile, Jason checked his rearview mirror and noticed he was being followed. He stopped at a traffic light and made a call. "Someone's tailing my car. A white BMW, license plate"

Grace, startled, exclaimed, "Someone's following us?"

"Yes, for a while now."

"So you called?"

"The head of the traffic police department."
