Chapter 42

Just as Olivia finished speaking, her assistant's phone rang. The assistant retrieved the phone and, upon seeing the caller ID, brightened. "Oli, it's Mr. Skye!"

Olivia snatched the phone. "Spit it out..."

The assistant chuckled. Theo, son of the prestigious Skye family of Capiton, was on the other end. He possessed a volatile temperament, yet always treated Olivia with respect.

"You didn't go to the Lewis household yesterday?" Theo's cold voice cut through the phone.

Olivia's arrogance vanished at his unfriendly tone. "Yesterday… a major overseas client delayed me. I'm at the Lewis estate entrance now!"

"Nonsense! Disrespect my Nashy, and I'll bankrupt Drake Group in minutes!" Theo yelled, hanging up before Olivia could respond.

The assistant, having never witnessed Mr. Skye's temper, paled. Olivia handed back the phone, saying absentmindedly, "Let's go. We need to meet the Lewises and this Nash."

The Skyes, a three-hundred-year-old business dynasty with global investments, commanded immense power. Theo's arrogance was legendary; even other elite families' heirs treated him with deference. The assistant had never heard anyone earn Theo's affection enough for a pet name.

Just then, Herman hurried toward them. "Ms. Olivia, welcome! Please forgive my tardy greeting!" He bowed, noticing the supercars lining the road – the cheapest worth at least $700,000, including several custom Koenigseggs valued at nearly $15 million.

The Lewises gasped. The CEO of one of Jonford's top ten companies arrived in truly impressive style.

Olivia smiled gently, extending her hand. "Mr. Lewis, you're too kind. We apologize for the uninvited visit."

Herman's heart surged. He normally wouldn't even qualify to meet Olivia.

Turning to Harrison, he instructed, "Harri, have Maria bring more tableware!"

Harrison immediately ran towards the villa. Herman gestured. "Ms. Olivia, please..."

"After you, Mr. Lewis," Olivia replied, her rare display of humility stunning the Lewises.

Hera whispered to Lauren, "Mom, is Ms. Olivia here to cooperate with us?"

Lauren sighed. "I fear it's at the Watson's invitation…" She knew their limitations. Even with their connections, their largest order had only been worth four million dollars.
