Chapter 66

Hearing Trevon's words, Andrew knew what he meant. He nodded, saying, "Okay."

Angel, the enigmatic jewelry designer, had never appeared publicly. His debut work caused a sensation among global celebrities, and subsequent designs continued to amaze. Even his peers held him in high regard. Many people prized owning a limited-edition Angel piece; the price of some one-of-a-kind necklaces skyrocketed. Trevon, having seen Angel's designs, considered his imagination and craftsmanship impeccable, making the pursuit of collaboration worthwhile, despite the considerable time and expense involved.

Strangely, despite extensive resources dedicated to uncovering Angel's true identity, Trevon had failed. Angel remained as elusive as Charm, the infamous dark web hacker.

"You finally show up, Angel," Trevon exclaimed, his eyes alight with confidence. Like a hunter patiently waiting for his prey, Trevon had meticulously tracked Angel's movements, covertly deploying numerous agents to secure his capture. His plan was to only conclude once the prey was caught. Unknown to Trevon, the talented designer he sought was his wife, Selina. Selina, meanwhile, remained unaware of Trevon's relentless pursuit, diligently sketching a necklace design in her room.

She planned this exclusive necklace as a gift for her cherished Lydia. Selina worked tirelessly, refining the design throughout the afternoon until finally completing the draft. Relaxing, she nodded with satisfaction. An hour later, she adapted the design into a bracelet for her team. Her work completed, the next step was selecting a manufacturing partner. Her design, intended as a gift, was more than sufficient to attract any factory. Considering the circumstances, Selina chose Cartier.

She was about to message Jack, Cartier's top executive in Clusia, when her phone rang, displaying an unfamiliar number. Selina raised an eyebrow. This phone number was strictly for business. She employed numerous aliases and different numbers, leveraging hacker technology to maintain anonymity. Identifying her true identity through this virtual number was impossible; the individuals able to contact her were limited and their names meticulously logged in a database, cross-referenced with company details. This call was to the number she used as Angel. Prestigious factories collaborating with Angel maintained her information as the strictest confidence. Yet, the number on her screen was unknown, from someone with whom she'd never worked.

After a moment's thought, Selina answered, altering her voice to a deep, masculine tone. "Hello, this is Angel speaking."

"Hello, Angel. This is Andrew Brady, secretary to Trevon Brady of the Insight Group. I'm currently with Brilliance, an Insight Group subsidiary," Andrew introduced himself.

Hearing Trevon's name, Selina was startled. Maintaining her disguise, she asked, "How did you obtain my number?"

"Locating your contact information proved challenging. We invested considerable effort because our boss is adamant about collaborating with Angel," Andrew assured her. Seeing her silence, he continued, "If you're interested in Brilliance, our boss wishes to discuss matters in person. The time, place, and terms are entirely up to you."

"I'll consider it," Selina replied, then hung up. Despite her initial preference for Cartier, the thought of Trevon swayed her towards Brilliance. She'd heard of Brilliance; founded only three years prior, it had already cultivated several exceptional young jewelry designers, winning numerous international awards. Brilliance's sensational jewelry collections had propelled its IPO this spring. For a company only three years old, its growth was phenomenal. While not as established as century-old foreign firms, Brilliance had undeniably made its mark. Its founder, Trevon, had aggressively recruited talent, becoming a legendary figure. Even Selina knew of the company, recognizing its immense potential.

Considering both personal feelings and future prospects, Selina found Brilliance intriguing. She was eager to witness the company's power, its achievements in three years, guided by Trevon and backed by the Insight Group. However, she couldn't reveal her identity. To collaborate with Brilliance, she'd need a different approach. Fortunately, Andrew had granted her complete control over the meeting arrangements—exactly what she desired.
