Chapter 84

Pamela laughed and sat down. When Ivanna served Pamela a cup of juice, she took a sip before saying, “Zoe, you wouldn’t believe this, but I only found out about this yesterday.”

“Tell me. What did you find out?” Zoe asked, looking at her manicure.

Pamela cleared her throat and replied, “Previously, when Quinn broke up with Caleb, she suddenly became rich not long afterward. She even cured her brother’s illness. Were you aware of this?”

Zoe didn’t like it when others mentioned Quinn and Caleb in the same breath. She furrowed her brow but said nothing.

“Do you know how she got the money?” Pamela asked in a mysterious tone.

Zoe retorted, “How else would she get it? That bitch stole money from my house and gave it to her daughter.”

In her mind, Quinn’s mother was a terrible stranger who had barged into her parents’ marriage. She would have been kicked out of the house had her father not liked her.

Upon hearing this, Pamela shook her head. “You’ve guessed wrong. That money wasn’t from her mother. It was…”

Up to this point, Pamela leaned forward to whisper in Zoe’s ear for some unknown reason. Perhaps she didn’t want to be overheard.

Upon hearing what Pamela had said, Zoe’s eyes lit up. She looked surprised. It was as if she had discovered a whole new world.

“Is that true?”

“It’s true. The schoolmate I met yesterday told me herself,” swore Pamela with her right hand raised.

Zoe saw how earnest she was and couldn’t help but smile cruelly. “Like mother, like daughter. Their whole family is full of bad apples who’ll do anything for money. I’d like to see Quinn steal…”

“Zoe, I haven’t told a single soul about this. You’re the first person I told. Not even Dylan knows,” Pamela added with a smug expression.

Zoe side-eyed her. “What’s your relationship with Dylan? What do you mean he doesn’t know?”

“There’s no relationship so far. However, it’s hard to say in the future.” Dylan was a man Pamela had her eyes on. She would definitely figure out a way to get him.

Zoe saw through her and gave Ivanna a look. Soon, Ivanna took out an engagement party invitation and handed it to Pamela. “Dylan will definitely attend the party to celebrate Caleb’s and my engagement. Remember to dress prettier than usual.”

Upon seeing the invitation, Pamela lit up with joy. She took the invitation with both hands and said, “Thank you, Zoe!”

“Also, keep this matter a secret. Not even Dylan may know about it, understand?” reminded Zoe.

“Relax, I won’t tell anyone,” Pamela replied as she nodded. Her focus was on the invitation.

Pamela got up and left a while later. When the manicurist finished her job, she also left the room.

Ivanna walked to Zoe’s side. “Ms. Jakeman, are you about to change your plan?”

“I wanted that bitch, Quinn, to see my and Caleb’s love in person. That would crush her and destroy her fantasies. However, since God has decided to lend me a helping hand, I won’t let this opportunity go to waste.”

Zoe looked smug. She had a comprehensive plan.

She waved Ivanna over, had her lean closer, and whispered some instructions. Ivanna’s expression changed. She looked impressed.

“You’re truly clever, Ms. Jakeman. Quinn is definitely going to lose miserably this time.”

Zoe chimed in viciously. “I hope that disgusting mother of hers gets kicked out along with her.”
