Chapter 75

Noelle finished speaking, unconcerned if Lacas recognized her voice. She logged in and started her first Player Killmatch of the day. She knew the players there were highly skilled.

Her first Player Kill match began. The opponent was a tank, a difficult role in Talis. He mocked her, saying, “Hey, little girl, I might let you have a few moves if you start begging. After all, you won’t be able to keep the rank you got by hiring a booster.”

Noelle didn’t respond and struck immediately. Five minutes later, the opponent was completely wrecked. Noelle had easily won.

After each round, there was a three-minute break. Noelle’s live stream was once again filled with comments.

“Where’s that arrogant guy from just now? Come back and stream yourself eating shit!” “Looks like someone’s salty today.”

Lucas stared at his computer screen, thinking he had misheard. The streamer, SweetNelly, sounded exactly like Noelle. He found this impossible and wondered if something was wrong with his hearing.

He looked at his secretary, James Newport, and asked, “Did the streamer just… speak?”

James nodded. “Yes. Judging by her voice, she sounded like a young, soft-spoken girl. Is there a problem?”

Lucas didn’t reply. He stared at the screen, his emotions in turmoil. How could he not have thought of it? Noelle’s childhood nickname was Nelly. Thus, SweetNelly was undoubtedly Noelle! For a moment, Lucas felt like he couldn’t breathe. If the streamer was indeed Noelle, he couldn’t even imagine what that would mean.

At that moment, Xenia walked over. “Lucas, what’s wrong? You don’t look so good.”

Lucas gulped. “That streamer… sounded exactly like Noelle! Could it really be her?”

“Lucas, I thought the same when I heard the streamer’s voice in the video yesterday. But I think it’s just a coincidence. After all, some people look exactly the same, so it’s not strange for two people to sound the same.”

Lucas sighed silently. “You’re right. It might be just a coincidence.” He didn’t want to believe it was Noelle, yet he could now imagine the possibility! James excitedly announced, “Mr. Liddell, the streamer’s followers have increased to 200,000, and the live stream now has 100,000 viewers!”

Lucas immediately checked. “It’s increasing that quickly?”

“Yes. It’s because she hasn’t lost a single match, and she’s winning effortlessly each time!”

“If we can recruit her to our team, we’ll definitely win the finals!” Lucas’ eyes lit up with joy. That was exactly what he was thinking.

Xenia stood by, barely able to maintain her composure. She wondered if there would still be room for her if this person joined the team. Lucas might even give that person the Best Newcomer Award. Xenia felt jealous but didn’t dare to say anything.

Noelle streamed for two hours. She won match after match and successfully climbed to the 100th tank rank. As she looked at her results, she smiled, massaged her sore wrists as gifts flooded into the livestream.

Noelle unmuted her mic and said, “Thank you, everyone, for your gifts. I’ll continue to rank up tomorrow. It’s my first time streaming today, so I’m still pretty inexperienced.”

“Queen, please stream again!” “I want to be a ball girl of trash for those stupid boys!” “Dear Nelly, don’t log off so soon! You’ve got to maintain your relationship with us fans; interact and chat with us!”

Noelle replied, “As for the panning tutorial, I don’t think I’ll have enough time for that today. But we can discuss how I won those ten matches just now.”
