Chapter 101: This Blood Is Not Mine

The kidnappers’ target was Alice. Since Olivia had interfered, they had no qualms about being ruthless.

Inside the car, Alice watched in terror as five men slowly approached Olivia. Trembling uncontrollably, she shakily picked up her phone and dialed Hudson. “Hudson, help! Someone’s trying to kidnap me! They’re going to kill Olivia too! Please come save us!”

Outside the car, Olivia eyed the five men closing in. These kidnappers looked like trained fighters, not as easy to deal with as the street thugs from before.

While she was sizing them up, the five men lunged at her. Olivia shifted her body slightly, dodging the first man’s attack. She crouched low and delivered an uppercut that landed squarely on his jaw. Using her agility, she evaded their attempts to surround her, her swift movements making it impossible for them to land a hit. With a flying kick, she knocked one man off his feet. Leaping into the air, she grabbed another man’s shoulder and slammed him to the ground with a brutal throw.

What they initially thought was a simple task of dealing with a meddling girl turned into a nightmare. These men were all trained fighters. Normally, even a skilled man wouldn’t last two minutes against them. But the situation had completely flipped. The girl in front of them seemed almost superhuman. Despite her slim limbs, her strikes carried astonishing power. One man had his ribs broken by a single, well-placed kick, collapsing onto the ground as blood gushed from his mouth. The one who had been shouting about killing Olivia was now unconscious on the pavement after she slammed his head against the road.

Inside the car, Alice stared in shock. Under the streetlights, Olivia seemed to transform into an unstoppable goddess, vanquishing evil with ease. The terror on Alice’s tear-streaked face began to fade, replaced by an overwhelming sense of admiration.

Olivia is so cool!

The police arrived faster than Olivia had anticipated. Several patrol cars screeched to a halt at the scene, and a dozen officers jumped out, ready to rescue the victims. But as they took in the sight of burly men sprawled all over the ground and the petite girl standing there, they were stunned.

“What… what’s going on here? Wasn’t there a report of a kidnapping?”

“Yes, these are the kidnappers. They were trying to abduct Alice, the daughter of the Sullivan Group’s chairman,” Olivia said as she unlocked the car.

The officers were taken aback. So, the kidnappers were already taken care of? One officer recognized Olivia and couldn’t help but blurt out, “It’s you again?” Olivia blinked in surprise, realizing it was the same officer she had encountered during the incident with the street thugs.

Well… this time, she couldn’t pretend someone else had saved her. The officers quickly cuffed the kidnappers lying on the ground. Barely a minute later, Hudson sped onto the scene in his car. The moment Alice saw Hudson, she jumped out of the car and ran straight into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

If not for Olivia, Alice would have faced the most terrifying ordeal of her life today. “Hudson, you’re so late! I was scared to death! If Olivia wasn’t here, you would never see me again…”

Hudson held his sister tightly, his heart aching, and looked over at Olivia. When he saw her standing there, covered in blood, his eyes trembled slightly. “Olivia, are you hurt?”

Olivia, still explaining the situation to the police, glanced down at the blood on her clothes. “Oh, this blood isn’t mine. It’s theirs.” She had gotten so caught up in the fight that she hadn’t noticed how much blood had splattered onto her.
