Chapter 20: Show It to Michael

The staff member took a look at the card. Aside from a peculiar emblem, it had no special features.

“Wow, are you seriously comparing this to the black card Lily showed?” one of Lily’s followers scoffed.

“I’m telling you, little girl, you don’t need to embarrass yourself like this. Who are you trying to fool with this?” The two girls laughed derisively.

The staff member had never seen anyone try to use something like this to deceive people before.

“Are you here to cause trouble or what? Can something like this even be used for payment?”

Olivia replied, “Whether it can be used for payment or not, just show it to Michael and see.”

The staff member’s expression froze upon hearing “Michael.” Michael was the young master of Smith Group and the actual owner of Carlos Harmonies. Only a select few VIP customers knew about him.

How could she possibly know him? Looking at Olivia’s shabby outfit, the staff member found it hard to believe that she could be acquainted with Mr. Michael.

“Just because you mention Mr. Michael doesn’t mean you can get him involved. Who do you think you are?” The staff member said impatiently.

Lily was also surprised that Olivia had mentioned Michael’s name.

“These days, commoners are just so revolting. They believe they can utilize Mr. Michael’s name to go up the social scale after hearing it someplace.” Lily laughed disdainfully.

“But if some people want to embarrass themselves, we can’t stop them. Just show this card to Mr. Michael. I want to see if such a card can make him agree to sell this piano.” Lily enjoyed the opportunity to watch someone make a fool of themselves.

“If she can buy this piano, I’ll cover all her expenses in the store today, except for the piano.” The other girls laughed in response.

“Lil is so generous.”

“I doubt anyone will be able to take advantage of such a deal.”

A broken card making Michael agree to sell a 3.8 million piano? They thought she must be living in a fantasy world.

The staff member hesitated but eventually took the black-gold card and headed upstairs. Isabella was so nervous she could barely speak, clutching Olivia’s arm tightly and biting her lip. Olivia, on the other hand, remained calm and took a seat on a nearby chair. She didn’t have the money herself, but Alexander had plenty!

In the lounge on the second floor, a handsome young man lounged on a sofa, smiling as an elderly man beside him reviewed a newly acquired sheet of music.

“Mr. Michael, thank you for handling this. The original sheet music is hard to come by,” the elderly man said.

Michael’s smile widened. His striking looks and cheerful demeanor made him even more attractive.

“Of course, Mr. Sebastian. I wouldn’t delay anything for you.”

As they conversed, there was a knock at the door. The staff member cautiously pushed the door open. “Mr. Michael, there’s someone causing trouble in the store.”

Michael’s eyebrows raised in surprise. It was rare for someone to be so bold on his turf.

“Mr. Sebastian, please wait a moment. I’ll be right back,” Michael said, then left the lounge.

The staff member exaggerated the events from earlier. “Mr. Michael, you wouldn’t believe how arrogant this woman was. She insisted I show you this card.”

Michael’s lips curled into a lazy smile. “Such people should be thrown out immediately.” Michael was about to dismiss the matter, but he glanced at the black-gold card handed over by the staff member. In an instant, his eyes widened in disbelief!
