Chapter 411: Olivia Is Extremely Stingy!

After Daxton's last call, mentioning the loss of a child years ago, a thorn lodged itself in Liliana's heart. The next morning, Brody and Paul, dressed in thrift-store clothes, parked their luxury car three miles outside the film city, and rode shared bicycles, huffing and puffing to the “Legacy of the Dynasty” set. After greeting Felix and ensuring he wouldn’t reveal their identities, they immediately started looking for Olivia.

Just as they spotted Olivia, before they could even speak, Benjamin suddenly appeared in front of her.

“Do you have time this weekend?” Benjamin asked Olivia.

Olivia blinked. “What’s up?”

Benjamin: “Daxton wants you to come to the party that evening.”

Olivia tore open a lollipop wrapper and stuffed it in her mouth.

“I’m busy, not going.”

A birthday party? What a joke. Isn’t a birthday gift expected? And don’t birthday gifts cost money?

Benjamin was taken aback by Olivia’s blunt refusal.

“Why… why not?”

Olivia bluntly said, “Gifts are expensive, and I’m broke. Before I am debt-free, I will always be stingy!”

Benjamin went quiet. To his surprise, Olivia’s reason for refusing was refreshingly straightforward.

“I forgot, it’s not just about attending the birthday celebration. I also showed Grandpa your piano solo from school, and he loved it. So, he wants you to play at his birthday party. Here’s the offer!” Bergamin quickly shifted his strategy, indicating a sum with his fingers.

Olivia grabbed Benjamin’s hand. “It’s a deal! You provide the piano, and I’ll be there on time!”

That settles it! Brody, who had been watching the entire exchange, was suddenly struck by a thought. Olivia was also going to Daxton’s birthday celebration? A thought suddenly arose in Brody’s mind. He turned abruptly and strode away.

“Hey? Where are you going?” Paul asked.
