Lucas couldn’t help but think there was a double meaning behind that statement. Olivia, however, pondered for a moment. Considering her current state, driving herself wasn’t a good idea. She nodded in agreement.

The completely ignored Claire and Sophia wore unpleasant expressions. Neither Hudson nor Lucas seemed to acknowledge their existence. Such treatment was something neither of them had ever experienced before.

Sophia was momentarily stunned. Just as she was about to retort, Olivia impatiently said, “Didn’t you say Hudson was teaching you music? Funny how he doesn’t seem to recognize you.”

Sophia was immediately rendered speechless. She had previously bragged to Olivia about her closeness to Hudson. Yet since meeting him, Hudson hadn’t said a single word to her, acting like she didn’t exist.
