Chapter 56
“Uncle Samuel! You just returned to the Vites family! People will…”
“You don’t have to be so polite, Uncle Samuel. The Galvez family…”
“Then who else would…”
“We didn’t save you back then just for this to…”
“Talej even saved my life… not you? Plus, the house isn’t expensive or anything. It’s a token of my appreciation. I simply want you to live here.”
“Well, that might…”
“be an exception anymore because I already put Isabel’s name on the deed. So technically, this house already belongs to your family. It’s a waste to leave it empty, Isabel. What do you say? Make yourselves at home.”
Isabel hesitated. However, she thought this would be a good opportunity to improve her parents’ living situation. The last time she suggested it, they flatly refused.
“Alright. Let’s just move in. This house leaks every time it rains, and the walls are rotting. In an earthquake or something, this house would be the first to collapse. It’s been so many years; you should consider changing your…”
Seeing that Isabel was wavering, Blake felt this might work.
“Mom, you guys are family. If you guys are being polite to me, that means you don’t see me as family! Don’t worry. No one can take the house away since it’s under Isabel’s name. If you guys don’t agree to move, I’ll kneel down and beg you right here!”
As Blake spoke, he knelt down. He would never forget Hannah feeding him personally when he was paralyzed; Samuel’s encouragement and care; Jack’s daily assistance; and Isabel’s unwavering daily support. The Galvez family’s kindness was something he would never forget. Giving them a house meant nothing; after all, everything he had would belong to Isabel and the Galvez family.
“Blake! Get up!” Hannah and Samuel quickly helped him up.
“I won’t get up unless you agree!”
“Mom, just agree. He means it,” Isabel chimed in. She truly hadn’t expected Blake to resort to this to persuade her parents.
Samuel finally made up his mind.
“Great,” Blake prematurely got up and said. “I’ve already arranged for the best day to move, and Wednesday is perfect.”
Hearing his words, Isabel was speechless. Meanwhile, Hannah and Samuel were also stunned. They didn’t expect to move so soon and thought it would take at least half a month to prepare.
“I don’t think this is right, Blake. We don’t have enough time today. Besides, there are a lot of things to pack,” Hannah said with a worried expression.
“Don’t worry, I’ve already prepared everything.” Then, Blake went to the window and called out, “Come on in!” Moments later, dozens of people entered the courtyard.
“Who are they?”
“This is the moving team I hired. Aunt Hannah, they are professional packers. You guys can just relax while they pack and deliver everything. Don’t worry about it.”
After hearing his words, Hannah looked at Samuel with a shocked expression. Isabel didn’t expect Blake to be so prepared; it seemed he intended for them to move that very day.
“You are too kind, Blake,” said Hannah.
The car slowly drove into Golden Villa. As Isabel looked at the familiar road, a bad feeling crept into her gut. Sure enough, the car stopped at the square of Golden Villa.
“Uncle Samuel, Aunt Hannah, be careful,” Blake personally helped them out.
“Blake, where is the house you mentioned?” Hannah looked around the massive square in confusion.
“Aunt Hannah, this is it. This is just the front square; the house is in the back.”
Hearing his words, Hannah and Samuel were completely stunned.
“Are you sure about this, Blake? Are you telling me that this entire place is…?” Samuel was in disbelief. He had never seen such a large estate; even the Galvez family’s old mansion couldn’t compare.
“Yes, Uncle Samuel. This whole area belongs to the Galvez family.”
“No, this is too much. We couldn’t possibly live in such a big place when there are only a few of us!” Hannah worried. Initially, she worried the house would be too small, having heard from Mrs. Lester that city houses cost a fortune. With so many family members needing their own rooms, the house would surely be cramped. However, she never imagined it would be such a huge estate!
“Uncle Samuel, Aunt Hannah, please make yourselves at home!”
On the other hand, Isabel looked at the house and felt slightly upset realizing this was the house she’d sold yesterday. She didn’t expect the buyer to be Blake! It was the property deed.
“Isabel, this is for you,” Blake took out a red booklet—the property deed. Isabel opened it and saw only her own name. She didn’t know what to say; after all this, the house ended up back in her name. Moreover, she made an extra 100 million. This was surreal.
“I’ve been eyeing this house for a long time. I heard it was designed by a genius architect. I thought you’d like the style, so I bought it for your family.”

Hearing his words, Isabel… she liked it very much. After all, she had designed the house herself. On the other hand, Samuel and Hannah were still… in shock. There was a garden, a fountain, and even a swimming pool. The facilities had everything they could imagine.
“Isabel, don’t you think this feels like a palace! This is the first time I’ve seen such a big house. I thought the Galvez family house was big enough, but this is something else. It’s too expensive. We can’t accept it,” said Hannah.
“Mom, look. My name is on the deed. You have to accept it no matter what. Since we’re already here, we don’t have to stay in the past anymore. You should look forward,” Isabel said.
Persuaded by Isabel, Hannah and Samuel had no choice but to agree.
“Isabel, do you like it?” Blake looked at her expectantly.
“You sure are rich,” Isabel said.
“Just a little rich.”
Isabel was speechless, seeing how happy he looked. There was no tragic love story at all. He was a liar from the start! She couldn’t believe Chris actually believed those cheesy love stories and felt he would be scammed by a woman in the future.
