Chapter 484 The Pet Snakes' Terror

Rachel felt like her soul was about to fly away.

Felix was ruthless, to the point of being outrageous. Just moments ago, she thought his profile was handsome and that he must be pretty good-looking, but his twisted taste was horrifying. He was a complete and utter pervert!

Rachel’s tears flowed uncontrollably. She didn’t want to cry, but her tear glands seemed to have lost all control, the tears streaming down her face.

Felix watched the scene unfold on the surveillance screen and suddenly laughed.

His cool voice carried a hint of regret. “These are my new pets. They sleep with me at night. They’re so adorable. Why are you afraid?”

It was a very sexy and magnetic male voice, but all Rachel felt was a chill running down her spine.

“I… I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have danced with Chandler!”

Rachel thought Felix must be furious because she had crossed a line. The only thing she had done tonight that could have angered another man on his birthday was embarrassing him. She had been thoughtless. But Rachel never expected Felix to be so crazy. He kept snakes as pets and even slept with them at night.

Rachel just wanted to call off the engagement. She didn’t want to risk her life.

“You… you let me go. I won’t call off the engagement anymore!” Rachel cried. She felt the snakes hissing right by her ear. “Felix, don’t joke with me like this. Please spare me.”

Felix stared at the screen, watching Rachel’s painful and fearful expression, and laughed even more.

“But you made her cry,” he said as if admiring a plaything, his deep voice casual.

“Ah?” Rachel was taken aback, not understanding for a moment. “Who’s crying?”

Felix didn’t respond. He looked out the window, his gaze falling on a beautiful figure not far from the pool downstairs. From here, Meryl was just a tiny dot. An involuntary smile appeared on his lips.

The air was briefly silent for a few seconds, and Rachel’s crying was somewhat grating.

Felix’s voice was low, filled with arrogance and recklessness, yet highly oppressive. “Let you go? Sure, but the door won’t open. What do you suggest we do?”

Rachel was stunned. She was still crying, feeling like she might be strangled by the snakes at any moment.

Felix whistled, and the snakes suddenly left Rachel’s body. Her limbs were weak, and she collapsed to the ground. She thought Felix had finally shown mercy, but his cold, emotionless voice came again. “I suddenly feel like watching someone dive.”

Rachel trembled even more.

“I’ll give you a chance. Don’t blame me for not leaving you a way out. You only have five seconds to prepare.”

“Five!” Felix began the countdown.

Rachel felt as if this was her death countdown. Diving? What did Felix mean by diving? She was afraid that any wrong move might enrage this madman further. Rachel bit her lip, her mind racing.

“Four!”
