Zach made himself comfortable and found some fairy tales on his phone. “What did you do? We’ve become the enemy of everyone. The company is about to go bankrupt!” Liam angrily slapped the table, his expression grumpy.

Rowena frowned and asked, “Liam, tell me. What happened? Bankrupt? What happened? You’ve been working so hard.”

“Did the two of you offend Zach Gilbert?” Liam asked with a dark expression. Only the Gilbert Group had the ability to cause him to lose all his partners.

They both looked panicked. Rowena denied it. “No, we didn’t offend him. I just… I just want my daughter to leave him.”

“Which one of you can tell me now what exactly you did to offend Zach?” Liam felt a headache coming on. These two idiots still hadn’t realized how serious the situation was.

“Dad, don’t blame Mom. She did that for me. She just wanted to fulfill my wish.” Sandy suddenly stood up and spoke for Rowena.

Touched by her daughter’s protection, Rowena waved her hands. “No, Liam, it’s not Sandy’s fault. It was all my idea. I was the one who tricked Elvira. I did it.”

“So what’s going on? Say it!” Liam was extremely frustrated. Even now, those two idiots were still beating around the bush. Seeing that Rowena had taken responsibility, Sandy sat down and stopped talking. It had nothing to do with her anymore.
