Chapter 104: Freshmen

"What?" Director Hudson glared angrily at Greg.

"Team leader, Greg, are Olive's words true?" he asked.

Greg was expected to deny it.

"That's not true, Director Hudson. Ignore Olive's nonsense. Olive, if you're going to call the police, do you have any evidence?"

Olive scoffed. "Of course, I have evidence. Divine got into your car outside Augustine Corporation's gate. You grabbed Divine's phone on the highway and left her there." She took a deep breath. "Team leader Greg, do you think there are no surveillance cameras outside Augustine Corporation? Or on the highway? I just need to request the CCTV footage, and your hypocrisy will be exposed."

Greg's face paled. "Olive, who do you think you are? How will you request the footage?"

"Then why don't you see if I can?"

Greg focused on Olive. She was only nineteen, but her black eyes were sharp and cold, as if she could see through all hypocrisy. She possessed a powerful aura.

Greg had always looked down on Olive, considering her a mere high school graduate from the countryside. But now he knew he couldn't underestimate her—she had Elvis behind her.

Olive noticed the change in Greg's expression. "What are you afraid of? Why did you provoke me?"

Greg clenched his fists. He hadn't expected things to escalate so quickly. "Olive, what do you want?" he asked fearfully.

"I have no issue with you. I just want you to apologize to Divine! If you don't apologize here, we'll go to the police station!" Olive threatened furiously.

Greg trembled. He didn't want to go to the police station. A case against him would ruin his excellent record.

Greg slowly turned to Divine, his fists loosening. With a trembling voice, he said, "Divine, I'm sorry. I admit I stole your phone and used it to post those pictures. I admit I left you on the highway. I'm sorry."

"What!"

The students were dumbfounded. The sudden reversal shocked them. How could Greg be like this?

Pamela felt numb. She hadn't expected Greg to be so vulnerable.

Divine snorted coldly. "Greg, it's your duty to apologize, but I will never forgive you."

Olive added calmly, "Greg, were you following anyone's orders?"

Pamela's heart pounded. Greg looked at her. Pamela quickly averted her gaze, her curled fingers betraying her panic.

Greg looked back at Olive and shook his head. "No, I just looked down on you. I did it myself. And no matter what, Olive, it won't change the fact that you cheated in your marriage!"

Olive hadn't expected Greg to take the blame for Pamela.

Olive turned to Director Hudson. "Director Hudson, Greg framed his colleague. His behavior was vile. I believe you will punish him fairly, right?"

Director Hudson stared at Greg in disappointment. "Greg, you did well here. You became team leader after only two years. But you made a huge mistake. I can't tolerate this. You're relieved of your duties as team leader and will remain in the institute for observation."

Greg's body froze, his face ashen. He was no longer team leader; his pride was gone. He couldn't believe how he'd underestimated Olive.

"Olive, Greg's issue is resolved. Now let's deal with yours. Come to my office." Director Hudson turned and left.

Olive and Director Hudson passed Pamela, and Olive subtly stepped on her foot.

"Olive!" Pamela gasped. Greg's defeat angered her, but her real goal was to expel Olive. "You must confess to Director Hudson about cheating in your marriage. You can leave the academy voluntarily."

Olive licked her lips, laughing softly. "Let's make a bet—I won't leave this institute. Do you believe that?"

Pamela's eyes turned cold. She didn't believe it. Olive's marital infidelity was undeniable. She didn't think the Ivory Council would keep her.

Olive, walking behind Director Hudson, stopped suddenly. "Director Hudson, I want to speak with Divine."

Hudson's expression was cold, but he nodded, "Go." He stayed to listen.

Divine rushed over and apologized. "Olive, this is my fault. I shouldn't have gotten into Greg's car. I…"

"Divine, Elvis and I are together," Olive interrupted. Divine's eyes widened.

Olive smiled and took Divine's hands. "So it's not your fault. This was aimed at me. Sooner or later, Elvis and I will go public."

Olive shoved something into Divine's hands. "This is for you."

Divine opened it, her eyes fixed on Olive. "Olive, what's this?" she asked, staring at the medicinal recipe.

"A healthy diet. It will help you control your calorie intake and increase your protein intake."

"Olive…" Divine was speechless.

"I'm giving this to you so you can eat healthy and stay healthy."
